Damn... its so crazy to really stop and take into consideration how differently every person's mind works... like yea I might sound dumb but I see videos like this being made and particularly the one with the pink haired woman and all of her great tips and I noticed these are all things that I've always just done naturally since I was very young... and it really makes me aware that not all people have this natural awareness about them and it just makes me super thankful that people are sharing this type of content.
I grew up having to be tough and over vigilant and over protective of myself and the people around me especially my loved ones... ive gotten myself thru a lot of shady and scary situations solely because of this natural instinct. So ladies please if you do not have this type of awareness naturally please develop and hone these skills enough to make them second nature because they could definitely save your life or someone you care about. Love and wellness to all of you. Take care of yourselves ā¤

Not a "man-hating" channel. We decenter men here and center ourselves. We also try to wake up sleeping minds of programmed women and girls to reality, so we can ALL experience our most fulfilling lives and enjoy better relationships with family, friends, partners and ourselves
whats a crime is that they TRIED to criminalize pepper spray but what are they gonna do ? nothing they cant protect you anyway so that is essentially a coordinated crime collaboration on a government level which is not humane and I dare someone to say otherwise it would be delusional and mentally sick to try

Im a Black woman, i CANT hold my head down. And holding an item in front of me on the street is a total no no, because not having my hands free can be a hazard if i have to defend myself. I look people directly in their faces, in case i have to identify them later. Call me foolish, but i just dont have the fear gene. I dont know how to cower and behave in a demure fashion. Fear is paralyzing.

So sad that it is true black women don't make headlines when there missi. Undeniably wrong.

@HangingChad03MEN ARE DANGEROUS! run.
@HangingChad03closed body language actually signals youāre timid and afraidā¦chest out, shoulders squared and arms crossed gives āIām confident, donāt effing touch meā. Predators do not go for confident targets whatsoever
@jojosbabymama20:07 the key thing is great for confidence. But I suggest practicing actually hitting anything as small as an eye on a moving target with it
@CMDRunemattiActually, I DO stay in my house with all the doors and windows locked, and I choose for the rest of my life to avoid ALL MEN, like the plague. And no I AM NOT JOKING. But, because I do have to leave the house sometimes (I only go out in public when I have to), I am watching this to know what to do if I'm faced with any problems when I am out in public.
@Rose-d8f3y5:46 I'm lucky I have a resting b-face
@CMDRunemattiDo not keep your car registration in your car. Keep it in your wallet (and a copy on your phone in case you forget the wallet). A valet can copy that info. If somebody breaks into your get that thief now knows where you live. Keep your car gender neutral - no bling, no pink accessories, no cute bumper stickers. It stinks but here we are. You want to appear boring and unremarkable in public.
@Laudanum-gq3blItās wild because even though they are saying tips ppl can be watching and learning & knowing what to do to their victims. You can share but also that can make them aware ( people trying to hurt you
@Butterfly1798Yes so many people will have others who work certain places. Some nurses can be evil and can set you up and the dmv is true. And receipts
@Butterfly1798My tips:
1 - I sleep in mens sleeping clothes. So everyone sees me in "his clothes" when I put the bins out, collect mail, or hang my laundry up to dry. Mens clothes are 100% cotton bobble free and CHEAPER.
2. I always pretend nan is still in the house. I am always talking to her as I enter and leave.
3. I regularly order things from Amazon. On there I order under a man's name. And always have me also down for postage as Mrs. Literally no one cares to challenge if your married or not. Even if your not married.
4. I have my male relatives, and if I didn't have them I would hire a man I really would to visit me and last two times my brother's spoke to my neighbours politely as even the neighbours are scary. They think that these men are maybe that husband, but they can't tell if it is my bro or not. One of my brothers is abusive and when he made the rounds as I used him for it, all my male neighbors were very polite to him, they recognised him for what he is but also they realised the girl (me) isn't free and as vulnerable. I hated when that bro visited but it was useful still but gave me creeps.
My mom is a silver glove in savate (highest rank) and taught it too. She is teaching my nephew basic Krav Maga. Self Defense classes are always good to join. It gives you moves to think about if you're feeling threatened, followed, etc. Also kickboxing, boxing, any martial arts classes are really good cardio, and gets your frustrations out which is a plus.
@lizzayliz84Thatās has happened to me with other channels too. We have to check from time to time to make sure weāre still subscribed.
Not for nothing but it seems like a certain type of channel that Iāve been unsubscribed to.

Do not park next to a van...and if you go back to your car and there's a van parked next to it, go find a security guard or someone to escort you to your car.
@lindac6919If I have to dine out alone when I'm travelling, I make a reservation for two in man's name. Or I tell the hostess "oh my husband is meeting me here." Then after a bit I get on my phone, then tell the waitress "He's delayed, I'm going to go ahead and order." Then that becomes "oh he was delayed so he grabbed a taco, he's picking me up in a minute can I have my check."
@lindac6919I thought I was the only left still scoring my tabs with an x. Lol
@Kelly-xv5mkWho said anything about punch with the key? I'm aiming at the eyes and I'm stabbing. Good lord. Lol. & The woman saying don't look at your phone unless changing your music. No no no no. Stop walking around with earbuds & music on! Period. So unsafe. In order to be aware you have to be able to hear. What I didn't hear people say... Don't put things in your trunk when alone. Toss into passanger seat or back seat after getting into your car. Do not linger outside your car. Get in & lock it. Check under your car while walking towards it. & Check the back seat before getting into it. Drive with doors locked if car doesn't do it automatically.
@shellia1929Only use stronger reusable bags when shopping so there is no danger of them solitting on the way home, and then you have to stop to pick things up. In the book The Gift Of Fear, that happened to a rape victim as she was making her way to her apartment once inside the building. That delayed her getting inside her apartment, and the man who picked up the can of cat food,
that fell out of the split bag, pushed his way into her apartment, and raped her.
Also, I use a backpack so my hands are free or a backpack and one other bag in my hand, so one hand is free when I open my front door and I don't have to bend down to put bags down, stand up to open the door and then bend down again to pick the bags up.
"Do not look like if you are lost." Whenever I get a map or street plan out in the street, I get harassed by men. My answer to them is that I wouldn't need directions as I have a map and that I can read maps. Otherwise, I wouldn't have one on me.
If I wanted directions, I would ask for them, not wait to be offered them. That's why when going somewhere new, I do a dummy run in advance when it's quieter and in daylight. It wouldn't matter then if I get a bit lost then as I am not in a hurry.
Change your WIFI password if you have cameras in your home, otherwise youāre probably on the web for free to view. Wi-Fi passwords are standard, your router has the same password as the other 100K routers of the same make/model. Adding ONE DIGIT to it prevents randoms on the internet from viewing you & your house for free. Google free web cam and youāll see tons of website hosting live streams of āunlockedā cams in homes and it aināt theft since the passwords are published online, in the owners manuals etc
Iām a Nanny who demands WiFi passwords are changed cuz no one should be watching my Mom Bosses breastfeed or me caring for a baby.
Oh yes, Iām a big fan of ID investigation there are so many stories about girls, young women, and women being graped and discarded in the woods, ditches anywhere and everywhere
Married women being deleted, and the whole families. Many stories also on you tube. So scary.
As an experienced systems specialist, I would advocate for making sure your systems can't broadcast/receive. Ladies, tech is really interesting and cool. If you get into it a bit, you can be the one in the relationship who knows. Men like to pretend they know. But as soon as you know more, that shuts them down.
Also, learn self defense.
Why would you walk alone? Get a damn lyft!
Iām sorry but I donāt know many women who can fit under a car. Unless itās a truck but thatās a little too much space to offer safety. I wouldnāt try that one, if someone is trying to rape you or attack you, before they get too close set off your car alarm. Use your best judgment to tell if you should approach your car because people could be hiding around it for an ambush. If you can, book it and lock the doors as soon as youāre in. If not book it to the nearest group of people or populated area and single someone out to help you. Do not depend on bystanders for safety because unless you call out one specific person they will ignore you.
@lllRocketlllKeep your face šš at all times, people thinking youāre āmeanā is exactly what you want.
@CJLopez-I was walking home from work later at night one day. I had a friend with me so i figured we would be fine. Sadly about two or three blocks from my workplace a younger man started following us. We were aware and tried to gain some distance and cross when he started yelling at us that he wanted to show us something and started whipping out his privates on the street behind us. A buncb of men saw what was going down and came running when we screamed. Thankfully they scared him off and im so greatful for them.
@Cy_an1d3Now this one sounds silly but its one that ive been doing for years. And ive also made it an unbreakable rule For if im going to any big city or location with a lot of fast movement.
Make Sure you always wear a Bra or at least try to. Because it comes in handy for storing your bank Cards ,Identification or even cash in Hand(Not Coins ) they can be left in your purse . If you dont want to have your purse on Show or you use a cloackroam on a night out and dont trust to keep those things in your bag or other belongings.
Another thing you can do is keep your bank cards/Identification in the side of your shoes that only really works with Boots or any other shoes that go above your Ankles.
Also if your walking in a busy area try to keep your phone either in an inside pocket of whatever coat or Shirt your wearing or any front pockets on your Skirt/Trousers or shorts but make sure thats covered too.
Dirty up those boots. Walk in the mud with them and even better get used boots and muddy them up.
@vanessacallahan3515Why is "sheepish" associated with looking down? In reality, sheep rarely look down - unless they're grazing.
@MsBlondeshell7:28 I knew someone that was SA'd at the gas station. We aren't safe anywhere
@home-818https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4v5RZ6-BPW4
@prohumanityperspectiveThe gas one...if you don't have a lot of gas and feel you are being followed then drive to a police station. Also a man that truly needs help, especially when it comes to a car "issue," will not ask a woman or child to help. Ignore and be on your way.
@Cjai8518Wear comfortable shoes. Nothing more dangerous than being unable to run away cause your high heels got you trapped, or that your clothes are too tight or constricting to love. A clip cloppy shoe attracts attention that you are hobbled.
@merhona3472Wow thank you for making this.
@desireerondeau8781It definitely pays to look intimidating and/or militaristic, or look like you can fight. It keeps people at a distance. Wearing neck armor to prevent strangulation is reassuring. And large, solid metal rings, especially if they have protrusions, make for good weapons. My main ring is a nordic raven skull where the beak sticks out over my knuckle. It rips well.
@Lady_LostMost of these things are illegal here in the UK: we are not allowed to carry, not even pepper spray or bear spray, or anything that could be used for self defense. We are not allowed to defend ourselves, if we do it's us that get arrested so martial arts is pointless. We cannot drive to a police station if we are being followed because our police stations are not accessible to the public, because we are only allowed to call the cops or message them on fakebook.
Our police is also so corrupt that they are far, far more likely to arrest the VICTIM, especially if the perpetrator/attacker/stalker belongs to a privileged group (happened to me many times so can confirm this to be true!!! I've even been arrested while severely injured, because my grape-ist is a member of a privileged group!).
There is also zero privacy here, a man only has to pretend to be a woman's boyfriend/husband and everybody falls over themselves to tell him everything about her - especially so-called "professionals" such as cops, doctors, pharmacists!
Does anyone know how to keep safe in such conditions?
So glad i could come to this comment section and didnt have to read 100 comments about how men get "attacked" more than women. But it isnt just attacked is it? There is so much other yucky behaviour men come at us with.
@roninboxersWhere are all the male vids of how to stay safe?
@scottiebritt300936:07 she just said she lives alone and the city she lives in for the whole internet. and says sheās giving āsafety adviceā. lmao this is satire right
@linahraeTy 4 sharing
@agoogleuser3905It's just so fucking unfair amd exhausting the effort we have to put into protection just to buy some lettuce or pump gad. It makes me so angry.
@JonquilCatNewAlso ladies (who's living situation allows it) consider adopting a large breed puppy. Not only do they let you have the 'mummy' experience, but they also keep you safe. I have two big amazing doggos. They're my babies but they're also my protectors (and I'm theirs). A lot of men are intimidated by big-arse dogs who respect mummy but not them. They'll give you kisses and scare the shit out of prowlers/burglars šš
@sara_ouiI like to use my height and Amazonian big bone structure (literally, I have a bigger bone structure, equivalent to the "average" man) to intimate and deter men in uncertain situations. I know that I'm big and present a credible threat. I'm a rape survivor and tend to see all men as potential threats. I'm on the autism spectrum so I don't necessarily read the normal social cues and warning signs of male predatory behaviour as quickly as a neurotypical woman. So I use my physique as a deterrent, plus I have a stare that can unsettled men (maybe its because I'm autistic?). I call it my cold serial killer stare. Its helped me in the past.
I've learnt not to let on that I'm a gentle natured and trusting person and to not assume that everyone else is as gentle or honest.
Edit: it might sound extreme, but my blonde hair, pretty face and dimples have sometimes gotten me a lot of (unwanted) male attention.
Everytime I get in a cab, my Dad receives texts from the app because heās my safety contact. Everytime he gets the text, he sends me a voice message saying he sees I booked a cab and looks forward to seeing me soon. He tells me to play his message on speakerphone so the driver also hears him loud and clear. Iām super grateful he does this and recently I got in a sketchy-looking car with a driver that gave me a funny vibe. I played that message extra loudšSo grateful for my Dadās caution!ā¤ā¤
@stellafantasiaThe one about being on the phone while you're walking alone at night always got me. They told us not to do that. However I would get on the phone with my partner as I was walking out to the car so he would know if something happened to me.
@assistivetechchickmake it a habit to feel confident saying no, u have the right to say no girls, don't feel ashamed or feel bad, cause if the other way out, guys won't hesitate to say it, you know how honest and cruel, they can be, u can be tht too
so u have to say no too, if u don't feel it u say NO. alright ?!, say it
