WAR..is the MOST useless statistic of all time, it says his value of "wins " above a replacement who doesn't exist,and an individual position player doesn't get wins ,he helps TO WIN ...if a guy hits a 2b you have no idea what it does to a "war" until some computer nerd tells you, it's an overvalued useless stat, and it shouldn't add up as a career total ,if a pitcher has a ,3.00 era for 20 years do you say his career era is 60.00 ...no if you hit 300 avg for 20 years ,is his career avg .6000 ...no

It wzas all cringe to not see Lou Gehrig or Joe Dimaggio on this list, but it wouldn't be possible to include all the legends in such a short video. Besides some mistakes, this was entertaining and well done.

Some notes: While Ryan was great, he never truly got "robbed" of a Cy Young. He just had the bad luck of someone being better that year.
Ruth hit 9 home runs in the first 4 seasons of his career where he only pitched. However, if you put those 4 years together into one you get a slash line of .299/.355/.474 for an OPS+ of 151. And this was in Fenway park, but Fenway without the wall, where there was basically no left field fence. This was also true in 1918, when Ruth won his first Home run title hitting 11 home runs in only 382 PA's. The rest of the Boston Red Sox hit 4. Note that Ruth hit all 11 home runs that season on the road, and the sox only hit 2 homers at home all year. For that matter they only allowed 3 home runs at home either. Which means that if you attended all 78 Red Sox home games in 1918, you would have seen 5 home runs. In fact, in 1918, 235 home run were hit in MLB. meaning Ruth hit 4.6% of all home runs hit that year. That's like someone hitting 250 home runs last year. But that's 1918. the next year he led the league with 29. Red Sox not named Ruth hit 4. The league average TEAM hit 28. Park was still a factor as he hit 20 of 29 homers on the road, with only four other homers at Fenway by either team. In 1920, Ruth hit 54, out-homering every team except the phillies and his own yankees who managed 61 homers by non-Ruth players. In this case, the park helped him, as he hit 29 home runs at home and 25 on the road.
Bonds' talents are equally incredible, but I won't go into them.

Ted Williams didn't just miss three whole Seasons during World War II. He also had two more seasons during the Korean War years where he only played a very small amount of games. All in all Ted Williams missed almost five seasons of baseball!
