Skeptics always ask the same two questions: why haven't we ever captured one, and why don't we have a body? The uncomfortable answer is that we have — more than once. The bodies just never seem to stick around.

In this episode: a frozen, human-like figure exhibited in a carnival trailer for 35 cents — until a Belgian scientist formally classified it as human, the Smithsonian drafted a letter to J. Edgar Hoover, and the body quietly vanished. An 1884 newspaper reports that a railroad crew captured a small ape-like creature outside Yale, British Columbia, and locked it in the town jail — a cell a crowd of 200 later found empty. A veteran zoologist in southern Mexico keeps a snarling, unidentifiable predator caged in his living room, then realizes its strangest feature was carved into ancient stone centuries before it was born. And in 1885, something in San Francisco Bay lifted a rowboat clean out of the water — two men knocked it out with oars, six men hauled the carcass onto Larkin Street for public display, and by the next day it was simply gone.
Four captures. Four bodies. Nothing left behind but the accounts of the people who touched them. I don't make these stories up — I just bring you the cases as I find them. What really happened? That's up to you.
I wonder how many Bigfoot reports are actually sightings of people with hypertrichosis. First ice man in this video for example, if it was real, did they murder a person with a genetic disorder?

The sun dog sounds like the Tasmanian tiger and those pictures he showed kinda resemble it witch would be crazy cuz the Tasmanian tiger supposedly went extinct in 1936 n he found the sun dog in 1953 but I guess it's possible because it went extinct I said time in 1936 but that's only 23 years so we don't know if there were any wandering the wilderness considering the world is as big as it is and everything we haven't really examined or explored we still find species to this day so I mean the rainforest is big enough that it could hide plenty of cryptid but there is also the fact of cryptids dying and unless they are colonized like people can I highly doubt they're burying each other but it's fun to think of right!!!

@robcoble9120A few cryptids are easily explained and easily hidden by the sheer size of the wilderness of the Americas. Namely, bigfoot and dogman/wolfman. Bigfoot is an American ape, dogman/wolfman is a American baboon most likely descended from the “giant baboon” species of the last Ice Age glaciation and its tail evolved alway due to being primarily ground-based due to the kinds of trees here, as ground-based baboons and monkeys commonly evolve to lose their tails for. Simple…and also scary because baboons are fricked up and love psychological attacks to terrify you and if pushed are very dangerous and they’re very territorial.
