Video Overview & Insights

In this video, I break down the most practical ways to build your net worth faster in 2026. These are strategies I’ve seen actually work, and even implementing one or two can make a meaningful difference over time.

Afternoon folks! I hope you enjoy this video and that you haven't given up on any of your 2026 goals. I know I haven't... hahaha.

Thanks for joining me again on another YouTube video, and for anyone who has been itching for an updated Net Worth Tracker, I put it in the description. I'm currently thinking about what to eat for lunch, and am not near a desk for the next few hours, so if I'm late to the comments, that's why! Forgive me. Ill see you again next week ❤

WHO AM I?

Can someone clarify in what way can I succeed in investing this 2026 as a beginner with more or less than 5k?

Your honesty about taking a big loss right at the start at 02:26 is so important. It shows the reality of trading and the need for a solid mindset. The way you re-entered a similar short setup at 03:26 after taking a loss shows great discipline and confidence in your analysis

0:00 - Start Here

0:11 - 1% Rule

Government jobs can really suck in this. They pay based on years you work. I’m a nurse in a county job but it is like a $1 raise on my “hourly”rate which is set to a salary but I still end up doing overtime because of patient care. We have benefits and pension but I’m starting to get cynical and slowly moving towards a diff dept or another hospital.

1:43 - Disconnect Time from Earnings

3:50 - Invest Windfalls

thanks. very helpfull content for everyone

— @DigitalCapital_Official

5:00 - Grow Income Faster

7:48 - Track Your Net Worth

Great video! Keep it up. Although, I do strongly disagree on 2. It sounds good but the stats do not back it up. Most common profession among millionaires is engineers. Accountants, teachers, attornies, and managers round out the top 5. Notice they're mostly wage earners. It doesn't matter how you make your money to become wealthy, as long as you are investing consistently.

Please make Top 10 Portfolio mix ETF & Stocks Portfolio. Example 3 ETF and 10 Stocks, 5 ETF and 15 Stocks, 10 ETF and 20 Stocks portfolio, compare and rank. Thanks!

By the way, this is Great video!

11:15 - Negotiate Everything

13:03 - Automate Everything

Not everything is accurate in this video, but nevertheless, it is a good set of advice. For instance, traveling abroad is surprisingly cheaper than traveling to most of the famous US places unless you live very close to them. The problem with being poor from the beginning is that all your hard-earned savings can disappear in a moment because your car breaks down, your house breaks down, your body breaks down etc. The "windfall" money usually come with a minus before them.

13:56 - Increase Financial Literacy

The video does a good job translating core personal finance and behavioral economics principles into simple rules people can follow. A lot of what it like controlling lifestyle inflation, increasing savings rate, and automating finances—is strongly supported by academic research. For example, behavioral finance studies consistently show that saving behavior, not just income, is a primary driver of long-term wealth accumulation, and that habits like automation and reduced discretionary spending improve outcomes over time.

Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.

In reality, agree. However, what incentive to pay you more? How about they would most likely have to pay the higher market rate to attract employees plus training and recruiting fees (not to mention lost productive time interviewing candidates). If you think about it, it is kinda backwards - like not paying for maintenance on a car only to have to buy a new one with higher associated expenses. Penny wise but pound foolish.

well trump fked this up too

Excellent video. But let me talk about something important: I see many young and old making mistakes that I believe they shouldn't make. I think everyone, young or old, should have an investment plan that increases their financial returns from three to six figures. Investing can be your retirement plan or a plan for the future, depending on your wishes, but the most important thing is that it's profitable.

@LindaMary-j6h

In my opinion, the 1/10 rule is really good, especially since you are working for someone else, so it should be applied if you want to have a significant amount of money for future investments, but it requires a 10 to 20-year perspective.

Loved how you broke down so many different paths to growing net worth quickly for 2026. It really made me think about optimizing my savings rate even further or maybe exploring a side hustle again. Great stuff!

Wow, I’ve never paid more than $5k for a vacation; it’s incredible to me that we’re talking about average cost.

@chemquests

Taking a loss on investments to then buy a similar asset and keep the tax loss is not allowed, it’s called a wash sale and you don’t get the offset tax loss benefits

The "Psychological & Liquidity" Angle (The Trap of Illiquidity)
"Everyone chases the sexy 10x moonshots—pre-IPO, crypto, or leveraged real estate—but they forget the *velocity of money*. If all your assets are tied up in illiquid positions, your net worth may look high on paper, but your growth is actually frozen. The intelligent way to grow 'fast' in 2026 is to maintain a hybrid portfolio: 70% in high-growth but slightly more liquid assets (so you can reinvest the gains immediately) and 30% in high-risk, high-reward plays. The wealth isn't in the valuation; it's in the ability to redeploy capital into the next opportunity before the rest of the market catches on."

I have 25k in my investment right now, 50k by the end of year. Starting next year, I'm able to save about 50-60k/yr, but I need to quit and move back home in about 5-6 years. I need more than 350k by that time, I hope I can make it.

This advice is dumb as shit lol. "Go make more money and save it all" there, could have been a two second video. unreal how you took this long to say this several times and also shill for realtors.

@T8rB

I gave you thumbs down since you made very bad mistake which can cost viewer. If you sell your stock to claim loss, you are not allowed to buy the same stock for 30 days. if you do, you have to pay penalty for wash sale. SO BAD.

Lifestyle inflation one of the largest culprits of financial independence. Most people get a raise then get a raise in their lifestyle and will have less money left over from their paycheck after the raise.

Great video-now i've hit $170,590. I was having this exact conversation with my son the other night-generational wealth isn't just about getting money. It's about teaching everyone not only how to make it, but also how to maintain it. It does no good for me to provide for my family if they don't understand how to manage and sustain it

@Pedrowilliams22

Totally agree. Net worth growth comes from small, consistent wins stacking over time. Those early milestones really change how you think.
