WANT IT EVEN FASTER? Make it in 2 HOURS with more yeast: https://www.jennycancook.com/recipes/2-hour-fastest-no-knead-bread/

How neurotic do you have to be to want to find something to wash that badly?

Wow Jenny. 10 yrs ago I made this bread, hubby still loves it !! Ten years still going strong, still laugh about how the dough is forgiving, unlike some people I know!! Hilarious 😂 😂

@lilliannardone9148

My dough after sitting was way too sticky and runny. Added lots of extra flour to get workable dough. Yikes.

This is Isaac again! The plastic wrap was a little loose as it would not cling. I didn't see the bubbles either.

Hey Jenny made the bread! Waiting g for it to bake but one question. The "loaf" or ball didn't seem to be as big as the one in your video (I used wheat flour). What could I have done dufferent?

@isaacbland4282

Have you tried a gluten free version?

Do you bake at 450 the entire time?

@lizelliott2169
@

Total flop, for me. Wasted time. Wasted ingredients. Tried multiple times.
UPDATE: I have tried more. Bought new flour and new yeast. It worked, beautifully. I apologize for my salty post 😢 because this site has a lot to offer and I have benefited from it. I'm keeping the entire comment up in case it helps. I just couldn't understand what kept going so wrong. It must have been the gluten in the flour, old yeast or over mixing. Either way, very much worth trying until I got it right. Oh, and I let the dough rest longer. Again, thank you and sorry.

I just started this recipe and it looks thin after mixing. I did add a little extra flour. Let's see what happens after 3 hours of sitting.

You did a great job showing us how to make that bread I'm about to try it now love ❤ your enthusiasm I no longer trust anything in the store I make all of my own food and have learned to love cooking I'm so much happier it tastes delicious (need to know what's in it) 🤔 great job on the video thanks 🍞🥖

Thank you for this recipe!! I don't remember how many years ago I started using this recipe, and even though I try a different recipe now and then, I always come back to this one. I have recommended it to so many friends. I guess the real reason is that it is so convenient - I don't buy any baked goods, I just bake for myself, so if I get a hankering for an egg salad sandwich, I have to make bread! A friend gave me a "clay bread baker" and I frequently use that instead of the Dutch oven. I have tried variations, including adding seeds like pumpkin seeds. It is always a success.

@patm9418

Nicely produced video Hon! What if I wanted to sweeten the dough a little with 2 tbs. of sugar? Have you tried adding that ever?

@whitemorn

Your jokes were on point lol. Great video. I'm trying this in a cast iron Dutch at the moment.

@retsofsivartnetloc9012

You don't use cold water for overnight raise. She is wrong you need to use warm water not hot water.

I made it. It came out just OK. The bread was a little dense and doughy and not much flavor. I let it proof in the fridge overnight. It never really doubled in size but it did rise. Any suggestions?

I have made this several times..ALWAYS perfect and delicious!

@bonnieg8356

Works great cooked in a air fryer on parchment paper. 18 minutes on 190 then flip for another 12. I dusted top with flour and sprayed with olive oil.

I'm confused. after letting the dough set for 3hrs it was dry on top. What do I do?

I used my Dutch oven for this and the bread was unbelievable! My husband said it was the best bread he ever ate.
