I like 127 because Mersenne prime and 2^127-1 is also Mersenne and 127=-1+2^7 and 1x(first prime)+2x(second prime)+7x(seventh prime)

I'm so late but mine might be epsilon, epsilon^2=0 but epsilon itself isn't 0. It looks cool and it's borrowed from Greek like a lot of math.

NUMBERPHILE

Website: http://www.numberphile.com/

13 because half my family was born on 13ths of different months making my Dad so superstitious about it he blamed anything and everything on 13 so now that he’s gone (totally unrelated ) 13 follows me in the most ridiculous ways and usually in some sort of ironic but so obvious to everyone who knew my father and what a bullshatter he was I just want to believe it’s my damn daddy still messing with me. 😂🙃🤓😌🥰🥸😶😶‍🌫️🫥

The only number it works for (besides ∞) is its conjugate.

I don’t have a favorite number, but I enjoy rewatching this video from time to time. :)

@backwashjoe7864
@

1221because 8t is fronteays and backways

@shivawilson3250
@

When I first watched this I thought j was this misterious obscure useless math quirk but then years after I learned it has many applications, specifically it helps to easily describe Lorentz boosts in special relativity

Now I'm interested in SED's sharpness function

@alejrandom6592

A lot of people like e but e^i is the real hero

@alejrandom6592

no one picked Pi or e if 1/137 ?!?!

@mrrajsingh
@

3 is my favorite number. A lot of video games I like have 3 in them and I was born in 2003. I love the way it looks

@hashslingingslasher748
@

twelve is my favorite

It is because it is a highly composite number and I believe we should convert to the dozenal system

@crondawg101
@

7, 17, 27, 37... damn I see a pattern here

@nuzayerov
@

No one said e? I'm sad

@SpongeJ
@

12 because it's divisible by so many other numbers and close to ten, that's why it's used for a dozen, so much better than ten

@reedsexton3973

I also like numbers ending in 1.

211 was the first time I broke 200 in rubberband duckpin bowling. Also, it's a prime number.

this video is so old, so probably no-one's gonna see my comment, but:
my favourite number is 105, because every factor pair apart from 1 and 105 itself (trivial, perhaps) has a difference which is a power of two

more specifically:
35 - 3 = 32 = 2^5 (35 * 3 = 105)
21 - 5 = 16 = 2^4 (21 * 5 = 105)
15 - 7 = 8 = 2^3 (15 * 7 = 105)

My favorite numbers are...
2: Because of BBC Two
12: Because of time
16: Because of Sweet Sixteen
22: ???
27: Because of 27 Club
36: Because of Apex Fun Run
41: ???
50: Because of Fifty Nifty United States
60: Because of a second and a minute
95 (My Favorite Number 😍): Because of Windows 95
98: Because of Windows 98
100: Because of the 100th day of school
2,007: Because of a year that I was born

@JazzyUtahVersion2.0

I love the number -2.25

@YellowMinusSymbol

Mine is 36 for lots of reasons! 36 has 9 Factors which is the sum of it's digits! 36=6^2 36=1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8 and 36 is the sum of the first 3 cubes! 1+8+27=36.

If you put a dash across a seven or dared to put a tick at the top of a one in my drafting classes (prior to computer drafting software) the teachers gave your entire drawing a zero no matter if everything else was perfect. To this day my sevens and ones are dashless and tickless.

@briandeschene8424
@

It's 2 idk why

@L-ORD
@

Mine is 25 because it's 5 squared... that's the only reason. Something about the square containing the root just feels satisfying (and yes I like 36 too).

@crazilycrazy29
@

Mine is Tree(3).

@cake-k8v

13 is my favorite number because it helped me at school a lot .I aslo like 4 for the same reason.

@mysterfan7649

It's relatable, ∞ gets so much hate and disapproval, just like my childhood.
A solution to x = -x.
The inverse of 0. Just an honorary title, but that's fine. I too have an honorary title, The Qreator, you don't see me qreating anything, but it just feel like it fits

@Segmentimental
@

Mine is 1001. Besides being just one more than 1000 and palindromic/mirrorable, it just so happens to be the product of three consecutive primes in 7×11×13, which I've always thought was fascinating!

@eth3792
@

26 because it’s my lucky number
That has to be I’ve been born a 26th.

@marcderiveau2421

1.79e308. It's infinity for some games
