I really liked this video... up to the part you started using features that require a subscription and AI credits - then it started to sound like an advertisement for Filmora (and I get it, you're probably being paid by Filmora). I absolutely have no problem with paying for good software and I think I will buy a subscription as it's a really slick package and I don't have the time or patience (or need really) for DaVinci - but, I'm still testing packages and don't want to commit to a subscription yet. This is supposed to be an intro level video - maybe stick to intro level features? Other than that I learned a lot and enjoyed it.

Great job as usual, Kevin! I am really new at this and need help. Could you, or one of your viewers, suggest where I can get help creating a video using a still picture? I want to animate it and add text. I will have no video, only still shots. Thanks, Mike

🎒 MY COURSES

Dear Kevin, hello. I would like to make video editing for my future Blog for construction fields. Please, tell me what requirements for the new PC on Windows 11 64-bit. I would like to collect the configuration of this PC myself. I mean, what kind of cpu Ryzen 5 or 7 or 9. O.k. I understand PC' memory has to be more than 16Gb or 32Gb. Kingston Fury. O.k. Can I use Ryzen r7 5700G from beginning before I buy RX 4050 and more or not? Is that enough for editing into Filmora Video Editor 14? Thanks.

What's a target number on the audio meter level so the exported file is loud enough but not distorted?

Is it possible to increase the volume of an entire track that has keyframes in it? For me, the audio volume slider only moves the section where the playhead is located/situated. Is there a way to increase the overall volume without having to adjust each of the keyframes?

"First, get your ingredients. Then, take one cup of soft butter and mix it with one cup of white sugar and one cup of brown sugar. Beat in two eggs, then add two teaspoons of vanilla extract. Next, mix in three cups of flour, one teaspoon of baking soda, one teaspoon of salt, and two cups of chocolate chips. Once everything is combined, drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 330 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are nicely browned. And there you have it—delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies!

29:24 To anyone struggling with this step in Filmora 14+:
Turn OFF "Magnetic Timeline" (p on keyboard, or use the icon next to the Auto Ripple icon on the top left of the timeline view)
Turn OFF "Linked Clips" (shift + ` on keyboard, or use the icon next to the Magnetic Timeline icon)

Now you should be able to move one clip on top of the other without both of them moving together automatically.
Hope this helps!

Is filmora perpetual worth buying? I narrowed my choice down to two software. Movavi and Filmora. I worked with Filmora and it wasn't bad but maybe there are more popular and better software out there. What would you suggest? Movavi (if you know it) or Filmora?

As long as you want to pay for every silly thing even after buying 50-100$ basic yearly package. If you want to add two video - pay more money. You want to download even very basic credit text pay more money. AI features Pay more money. and It never ends. Stay away from Filmore, It feels like cheating same way like cyber criminals. First they will ask 100$ then they will ask 200$ and then 500$ and it never ends. Bad product. Very Bad AI features. Very Very bad Marketing and sales.
