I recall Jamie, from Highway Thru Hell, said that the rotator he bought from LA Fire and rescue was conceived in response to a major quake years back that made the limitations of heavy/mobile rescue equipment painfully obvious.

The car made the driver swerve to the other side of the road but I bet he would of been ok if he just put the breaks on and corrected the steering wheel but I think he was driving a truck and trailer swerving like that he’s going to get someone hurt that 4X4 was lucky to be alive

If I was your company just for stats I would make a record of what nationally the drivers are in every wreck and see if u can ask them how long they have been in the country and if they can read English writing. And it would be some good stats for u to have at the end of each year

I reckon cal has gotten the worse truck drivers in America due to Biden having a open border so now u have all the worse CDL drivers not speaking English or been able to read anyone can drive but u still need intelligence to be a truck driver

That B post was not cut with the O cutters, there's no crushing and it is a big cross section to get with the cutters. They cut clean but its not that clean, thats a sawzall cut if I was betting. If we are going to use the cutters in a spot like that then we will take the spreaders and crush it a bit before and then cut so its easier to get around the post and theres less force than having the cutters open as wide as they go.

Mmmmm it is the fault of the pick up truck.

I encountered a large piece of metal on a 4 Lane highway here in South Africa and it is a really busy highway... If I had swerved, I would have caused a MAJOR pile up... instead I hit it, destroyed my tire and safely and quickly got my car to the side of the highway... where I waited for assistance.
Definitely NOT the semi drivers fault.

I promise you that LA is not the least bit popular for mega millions of Americans!!

I have seen many videos of crane trucks dropping their loads due to heavy loads or miss loading causing major damage, loss of loads and destruction of crane trucks.

SO WHY YOU CANT HAVE synthetic cables, instead of steel cables, why can't you? There's a lot going to them, and they're amazing. They're lighter, but a lot stronger and safer. And so? My question is, why can't you in California? Like if you're towing anything out of a fire, you're not gonna be parking a million dollars or your new $2 million truck near a fire. So I don't know why you can't switch cables.

Hello Pepe towing, GREAT VIDS & commentary. BUT I must DISAGREE w/your premise of not showing FATALS. Why? You need to shock people and show what carless or reckless driving causes. NOT for the GORE but to expose BAD drivers the circumstances they cause. You are probably too young when you took drivers ed, but for my generation we were shown the film: "RED ASPHALT" it was scary, gory but it was the truth, something hard to find these days. Remember Eisenhower showed the world the Holocaust & it helped the world see awful horrors committed. It sometime takes this to straighten some people out. You still can use some discretion, but it gets the point across. Hope this helps.

Got to love modern vehicle construction with its high strength steel A pillar core. Saws chews into the body panels no problem, but once you hit the pillar core- there goes the teeth. All you can do is PB blaster or WD 40 the blade and try to cut at a slower RPM.

I didn't know any fire departments had their own trucks for rescue. At the beginning of the video there was a fire department truck lifting up the semi so they could rescue the driver of the pickup. I thought fire departments called tow companies like yours for things like that. Admittedly it is faster if the fire department has its own truck.
