Former Royal Chef Reveals Princess Diana's Fave Meal And What It Was Really Like Cooking For Her

Video Overview & Insights

Darren McGrady was the personal chef to Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Princess Diana, and Princes William and Harry—a family with notoriously specific food needs—for 15 years.

Mom, I want to go to my own home. I don't want to stay in India. I live below the poverty line.

— @pranpratimhazarika205

In this limited series, Chef McGrady will walk you through the royals' favorite recipes from his Dallas test kitchen...while spilling all the most glorious royal tea. In our final episode, Darren makes Princess Diana's favorite comfort meal: Stuffed peppers.

#ROYALEATS

It's feels so heartbreaking to see him cooking the favourite food today for someone who's not there to enjoy it anymore. Dear princess I'm sure you're in such better place now. My condolences to dodi and henry as well

Bell peppers? Zucchini? Tom-ay-do Soss?! Has this sycophantic name-dropper specifically targeted this video at Americans?

The level of sycophancy is pathetic.

If she didn't eat beef, what kind of liver was she eating?? I've only ever seen beef or beef calf's liver even at the butcher's..

So wonderful to hear you speak of beloved Princess Diana. She touched so many hearts for so many reasons. Such a beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing your fantastic recipes.

Diana was bilumic. Food in and straight out. Hardly a role model. And the food is very old fashioned now.

@AJBTemplar

I was a child when she died and I remember visiting Paris with my parents and driving through the tunnel and there were flowers and signs in that tunnel. Princess Diana will forever be such an inspiration and Queen of my Heart. She was such a kind and sensitive and smart and empathetic person. I love her so much. I feel like Mr. Darren here just adored her too. How could you not?

This would not be called 'healthy eating ' anymore. Essential fats missing and juicing, very high in calories with all the goodness extracted !

Bave a feeling this modest gentleman was a true fav of Princes Di. He seems down to earth and totally modest and humble!
