The way cybercrime is growing, I feel everyone should at least know the basics of security. I’m currently attending a course under TDO and the exposure I'm getting in the module is quite practical. When I watch channels like this, I’m able to relate the training with actual cases.

I don't have WiFi in my home , I use mobile data what can I do any suggestions because I need to install these softwares you memtioned to practice like Linux , bash, and other things

Happy to know that I have numbers 1 to 4 dialed down! Now I just need to brush up on #5. Currently learning Cyber security(15 years in IT already), since my new job specifies it, just got started with splunk. Currently researching what I can do with it along with palo alto firewalls, and soon fortigate. Reading up further on cyber and network security in w3schools and tryhackme, so far so good. I don't wanna be a sitting duck during my 1st day.

Concast Business is the real threat. My business, Chi Botanic, is moving somewhere there isn't even Comcast internet and they still are forcing me to pay a $400 cancellation fee!! Their solution is talk the new tenants into taking over my contract!?!?! Wtf #comcast #comcastbusiness

Does using VMware, Virtualbox, etc. require an internet connection to work? I am going to buy a used computer and put one of them on to practice, but the computer might not be on the internet, thanks
