Welcome back to my show! Today, I'm discussing the secrets of glucose spikes and their surprising effects on our health. Find out why they matter even if you don't have diabetes, and get my top tips to control them.
Scary! In the scene added at 19:30, it's like seeing a completely different person. Where has all your positivity and mellowness gone? This scene has so much negative, commercial energy, completely unlike the rest of the video. You were so much more likable without that! 😕
Wearing Prada.

Glucose spikes are safe. Why blood pressure is measured when you're calm? Because base blood pressure is important. Same logic with sugar level.
@andrand57Why my fasting level every morning is 145 ? Even during the day is not high. Thank you.
@stellarobertson2217Braless!!!
@joeschmoe21This is by FAAAAAR the best explanation I've by on glucose, ATP, mitochondria etc. Easy to follow and show others.
Subacribed
100 mg/dl for a person of average height and weight. If you try to bring down your glucose level with a lot of weight, your heart will suffer. If you, like me, are over two meters tall (and your fasting sugar has been 5.9 - 6.1 all your life), and you try to bring it down to the universal 5.5, hypoglycemia may occur and your heart will suffer again.
Aerobic exercise and glucose control are always needed, at a minimum. But some see indicators slightly higher - they diagnose themselves, start eating incorrectly, get an eating disorder and have serious health problems. In any case - consult an endocrinologist before starting.
And also, water with vinegar won't help.
Question: Will having a cup of coffee first thing in the morning with a little cream cause your glucose to spike?
@CheriRiddlePerfectly understandable!
@TheDerdeckerthanks bro
@TácioAndréSo, where were this study published? I could only find reports from it, but not the actual study. At the Stanford website they state that the population of the study were composed of 30 people - being 5 diabetic, some pre diabetic and some “healthy”. So, saying that 80% of them presented very high blood sugar spikes doesn’t mean much if we do t know how many of the people tested were pre diabetic or healthy to begin with…. Could you share a link for the study, please?
@BelBastos09can stevia cause glucose spike? Is it ok to replace sugar with stevia?
@saharhom9748Style and nutrition. Awesome combi!
@abanichdoch8318tahnkss
@VoliBear-w2pI was diagnosed with prediabetes 4 months ago, I started your hacks, and after 4 months my FBS decreased from 98 to 88, but my A1C increased from 5.7 to 5.8!!! Why is the case? I didn't eat any sugar, decreased my fruit consumption, and removed rice, pasta, pizza, and other types of carbs from my diet.
@NeMo-g7kyou mean person should live with Balanced and neutral behaviour?!
@onkarok9417What about glucose dips? I hope you will explain about this as part of this glucose series. Thank you for the education! Best wishes!🌻
@karensorrentino9498Beautifully done video! What if after all the hacks and <10g of carbs, months of this and still have 97 to 107 fasting glucose? Even berberine and metformin don't do anything. Does each body have a setpoint? What about genetics? Less than ideal OCT genes?
@sherrysherry5972It would be helpful to include the reference links for the article/s used and especially links for the graphics used so one may do further investigations into the subject presented. It is usually common courtesy to reference the various graphics used in an educational presentation.

@kulturfreund6631So, I have noticed through the use of my CGM that when I exercise each morning (Boot Camp--Weights, Cardio, Metobolic), I get a glucose spike, that takes about 30 min to return to normal. If exercise is Good, and Glucose Spikes are NOT GOOD, how to I balance this out?

@jobcustodio2627If the organism deems the glucose as some harmful thing, it will be eliminated fast instead of to beeing accumulated in the specific cells. Glucose is energy for organism, like fire for freezed man.
