We went to Santa Cruz beach in California AGAIN to challenge strangers to jiu jitsu matches... but this time, I wanted to see what the most common moves are that untrained people use so that I can learn how to defend against them.
Do not attempt this without professional supervision. We are professional martial artists in a controlled setting with medical support on standby. All participants receive a full safety and rules briefing, sign waivers beforehand, and can stop the matches at any time. We do not condone violence, and safety is our top priority.
$1000 against untrained fighters...

@dsasse97Big ups to David.
@TheBandDefaultOh man, so glad to see there's hope for people with addictions. I hope Aron joins BJJ and keeps up with that healthy life.
@totenschreitrituals8874repeat same "challenge" in Dagestan / Uzbekistan / France / Japan / Georgia. Judokas waiting.
@RobinHood-j3jI did the same thing to my toe during me second ever MMA training, it's not that bad or painful at all but it takes an annoyingly long time to fully heal! Hope it recovers well for you.
@RamboldtHugging is actually a clever idea to Not get punched in the face in a streetfight
@dond2807One of your best videos mate.
@KimuraborealisUntrained people are the most dangerous because of the lack of control. (The sand on the mat would be brutal, like sandpaper).
@CoherenceConditioningW David!
@roblinxweiler9951W David. Excellent video. Your attitude and those of the folks with you are a great reflection of the traditional martial arts.
@mikeysan01The real test would involve any and all forms of fighting, including striking, kicking, etx
@philm04W David!
@azazelreficulmefistofelicu7158About the only channel where I watch the sponsor vids lol
@davidcrawford8583W David, what a legend! 👏
@JohnDoe-uj4ijA broom next time would be nice to sweep
@dl6225come to ocean city
@JessePaiz-ys7krthese are by far my favorite type of videos to watch grappling with random people and skills and sizes is very interesting and gives good insight on what it might be like in real life scenarios

@Static_artist90I hope Aron signs up. He would be a beast in BJJ.
@NoJesusNoBeast13Fractured my pinky toe on the same foot awhile back while rolling. Just simple back take from passing. lol never was the same again. good luck brother. Just going to have a weird looking pinky toe. I've accepted my fingers and toes as the main injury in BJJ. Take it over shoulder, knees, or ribs any day.
great video <3
3:24 the kids sound like the minions😂
@Idkwhatoputhere35644It's nice to see a group of friends just having fun with it at the end, probably made for quite the story!
@RyzawaThats no fun. We use to train with no air conditioning and on a hard wood floor before we had mats. Lol If we got injured we use to tape the area with a band of red electrical tape. We also trained with rubber guns, knives and red markers. I always trained mostly in a gi - Kimono although I think if you train both ways its better all around.
@JP-Bigblocks-fx2ilAwesome
@natewilliams964614:33 - congratulations on your sobriety, Aaron.
@benotsilent6703W David
@benotsilent6703That Americana was DEEP
@matthewyager6147Welcome to the "tape your pinky toe club". Once you rip the ligaments you better tape it before every session. It won't bother too much except just when you don't expect it 😁
@petteriheino9856W David hell yeah
@TylerTriedI think it has purpose. For detaining untrained people. And sporting sparring against other bjj guys. But without rules you get raped by true strikers and martial arts practioners. Ina street fight whats stopping a heavy boxer from rabbit punching you and killing you. Or wing chun guy gouging your eyes and stepping on your balls. Even in mma modern rules protect the grappler otherwise strikers would just murder each other
@christianflores75839:14 it costs 500 USD!!?? Yikes
@constablekohler@17:43 dude starts repummeling... dead give away he's had at least some training.
@trxscreedbro stop skipping parts of your roll youre like the most technical one their we wat to see the transitions wth
@tea-r2jW david
@NashC-b3h8gLove these grappling strangers vid 🔥
@SkycalisthenicIt works if u play by the rules, the thumbnail picture, if the guy who doesn't do bjj just takes a lump out the bjj guys calf I guarantee he lots go of armbar
@MOB34MW David Fr
@SecondhandstoicYou gays should come to Rio and do that. Surely would be a challange!
@arthurgoncalveslima4879the biggest winner of the video is......... REAR NAKED CHOKE.
@NemeczekesAaron should be training. Dude seems to have the perfect attitude for it.
@VeteranAviatorHow can I get this beautiful mat?
@Y-dojoW David
@PerspariBJJ absolutely works... Against a single person who is unarmed, doesn't have freakish strength, doesn't have any grappling ability, isn't likely to bite or do other dirty things, and who preferably is no good at striking
@eastpawsize difference and aggression is everything
@FrenShapedLisW David and W Aaron
@cropsey7412Yall are weak asf 😂😂 trying so hard vs untrained people 😂
