Season Four - Episode Nine: "Bug"
this is when Gus understood why Walter always had Jesse's back. In that business you will always need loyalty
Episode Description:
Walt (Bryan Cranston) struggles to subvert Hank's (Dean Norris) homegrown investigation, while a deadly warning forces Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) to consider a deal. Meanwhile, Skyler's (Anna Gunn) plans to run a legitimate business are stalled.
If Jesse could see into the future, cooking for Gus wouldn't have been all that bad...
Episode Overview:
After retrieving the tracking device they placed on Gus’ car, Walt and Hank are puzzled to find that he apparently drove only between his home and his office. So, as Skyler suggests they devise a plan to get out of the drug trade now that their car wash is close to making a profit, Walt’s concerns lead him to put a GPS tracker on Jesse’s car, too. But when Hank suspects that Gus is using his farm to run his drug empire, Walt warns Mike that trouble may on its way.
Weird to me that jesse meets gus and this conversation is only about one month later. Like the timelines do not make much sense to me because things seem way more distant
In the wake of Walt’s warning, Mike oversees Jesse and a team of workers as they clean the farm of any hints of the drugs that have been hidden inside. However, as Jesse is pressing Mike for information about what Gus has in mind for Walt’s brother-in-law, a sniper opens fire. And as Mike risks his own life to save Jesse, Gus walks directly into the gunman’s sights, confident that the cartel won’t kill him. Meanwhile, Skyler’s plans for turning the car wash into a legitimate business are threatened when her former boss Ted Beneke is investigated for tax evasion. Though reluctant at first, Skyler shows up at the audit to convince the investigator that her ignorance of accounting led to Ted’s problem. But after Skyler says that this is all she can do to help him avoid jail, Ted makes it clear that he still doesn’t have the money to settle the case.
Although he balks at disposing of a worker killed during the sniper attack, Walt thinks twice when Mike warns that he could be next. While meeting to inquire about what Gus has in store for Hank and to plead for Walt’s life, Jesse again fails to use the opportunity to kill Gus with the poisoned cigarette that Walt prepared. And when asked if he’s capable of cooking meth without his partner, Jesse learns that Gus is sending him to Mexico to share their recipe with the cartel. Finally, when Jesse tries to warn him of the plan, Walt angrily accuses him of backing out of their deal to kill Gus. And after the two partners end up in a brutal fistfight, Jesse orders Walt to leave and never come back.
Oddly enough Todd figures out how to coerce Jesse into cooking, just kill Andrea and threaten to kill Brock :)

Answer the question? He already did lol
@PiffhefnerThe sad fact of this scene is that Gus's meal isn't up to Pollos Hermanos standards.
@6.H.0.5.7honestly if you watch all the show, yes, this is how gus treated all his employeees: playing nice while also intimidating to imply what he wanted. jesse was the only one ot call it out
@xochitlbkwhy did Gus pour him wine? Pinkman is a drug addict, he won't be able to work
@extra_radiant_jerundaMy favorite part of their relationship is that Jesse legitimately surprised Gus by proving him wrong
He treated Jesse with more respect and was much more honest with him in Mexico while he just stringed along and humored Walt.
I wouldn't go as far to say that Gus liked Jesse but there was legitimate respect and proudness there
Jesse's respect for Walter is shown in the fact that Gus calls him "Walter" but Jesse always calls him "Mr. White"
@user-ym6zq5xk8zBe like Jesse.
@anthonygracey5528"You KILL Mr White, you're gonna have to kill ME too."
@nerdykiryu2005Why didn’t Jesse go to the bathroom then Jesse put that ricin into Gus’s toothbrush or toothpaste?
@LaufieldIt makes me sad to see Jesse's humanity stay intact, as Walt slowly gets more ruthless😢
@JoeLerma-hr6bnI loved how Jesse became so loyal to Gus, only for the pathetic Walt's ego to ruin everything
@melancholicInsaneIf jessie stayes loyal.
Then there would have been 0 problems
I always loved Gus forced unnatural demeanor, it's nearly as if he was an alien who slowly with time learned to act human.
@WokuChilling"That is not what I asked you" always makes me laugh for some reason
@dumptruck_babsGus respected Jesse probably the most, because he could not be bought or manipulated.
@Francis-of8cwthe only moment when Jesse is smart enough, but still got into the trap of making him feel important
@mlgmounted9599Hey , That's me
@JessePinkman-kj1hlGus makes the best dinners
@kman20gus looking surprised is the surprise here
@thetransferaccount4586Maaaaaan i wish gus invited me over 😭
@trixie-rg5jjJessie's character was always incredibly perceptive.
@feraskhalbuss2145This scene hits different knowing Gus's men are watching behind the walls just in case
@Harry-rm5lsJesse deserve a boss like gus not walt
@afdhallukmana2161Gotta wonder how the rest of this dinner went 😂
@SteveNathnGus: "What happened yesterday to my man at the farm, it was a terrible thing."
Jesse: "Oh, the dude getting his head blown off just like Ga- I meant... yeah!"
Fallacies

One for you and two for me
"Make.... whatever this is..." 😂
@dp4812Gus: I will answer your question, but first, I need you to answer one question for me: how's the soup.
@SuperKamiPanda1I love Gus's "Oookay, plan B." expression at 1:27.
@LordLoockerJessie's the only one that ever got away with talking to Gus as if he's a nobody.
@seattlegolferYOU KILL ME, YOU GUJNNA HAVE TO KILL MR WHITE
this was the moment , jesse became gustavo hermano
his eyes unmoving and glazed over is what makes him so good at the role. even in farcry 6 he's a badass villain
@bigbrainshhto everyone, hes walt. to jesse, he will always be mr white.
@NeonSlabCo“bro can either of u just compliment the soup”
@birgio1363This is a very underrated scene
@AnthonyTomassettiJesse is dumb. He correctly figures out gus plan. And gus just says "no war only peace bro , can you cook for fun tho😊" and jesse believes it! Lmaoo
@AA-uv3ufWalt had truly become a terrible person by the end of this, while Jesse blossomed as a human being. It's a shame he was so messed up by the trauma of everything.
@sexwithleebyunghunGus gave Jesse the keys to the whole operation.
@jpd-z5pGus is lying. He dont want to prevent a war. He want to use Jesse for his plan. And was exactly that he get.
@mdemaik3337this is the moment ted bought plan b
@tuffneggahIt's amazing how Gus regained control of the conversation after Jesse almost tripped him up.
@marlafrange8106dont know why jesse stuck up for walt after all the horrible things he did and made him do. he should have sold him out told gus he was told to killl him.
@gu9838To be honest if Jesse had killed Gus they would have watched the surveillance footage and would have killed Jesse and Walter a few weeks later.
