I don't know about the current situation in Korea, but in Germany this year the case of Collien Fernandes went viral. Her husband allegedly telephone s*xed and s*xtexted men in her professional surroundings for over 10 years pretending to be her and has send them a sh*tload of deep fake po*n materials of her. To his lawyer he allegedly said that he quote: "unfortunately developed a fetish". So yes, men still think that they own women and get off on that idea. Public reaction of (not all but too many) men to this case were also very telling. "presumption of innocence" or "not all men" or popular search results regarding videos of Collin Fernandes. While Collien herself is continuing to publicy fight for better laws to protect women from deep fake crimes and is still in the middle of the ongoing court case against her ex husband, regardless of all the de*th threads she is receiving. I wonder how much longer women have be afraid or fight to feel safe in this world.

I cannot fathom why the police/judge would even bother entertaining one word he said. They have his whole criminal history, telling them exactly what kind of person he is. They have the video of the attack and the stalking leading up to it. They have the testimony of the medical staff who took her to the hospital. That ought to be enough to convince anyone, it convinces every person watching this video! Why is there so much of an attitude of "we're just doing our jobs, we're really doing our best, please don't expect us to do any more than is technically necessary" when there is a case as horrific and evil and destructive to society as this???
This person is straight up a danger to everyone around him, and if justice systems worked to protect society rather than being purely about punishment, he should never have been out on the street in the first place to do this... and absolutely should be gone for life after doing something like that. And honestly should just be taken out. I really wish this wasn't seen as somehow emblematic of men, but rather this particular person being evil.
Every woman should be provided with a self defence tool like a rocket launcher or a pistol 😢😢😢😢
