A few things…
1. Alys is probably a skin changer/warg she wargs into the black goat and Owl. In fact she’s probably Bloodraven’s first candidate for being the three eyed crow but she probably was a failure due to Aemond.
2. It is very likely that the Winter Wolves might have a warg in their army (or perhaps Black Aly might be a warg due House Blackwood’s connection to the Old Gods) keeping an eye on Criston Cole’s army which explains how they were able to get ahead of them so quickly. My reasoning for saying this is there were scenes where the camera had a bird’s eye view of Cole’s entire force and if you rewatch those scenes it feels like they’re being watched.

This was another great episode. I really enjoyed seeing the vulnerabilities of Aemond and Aegon and their conflicting mommy issues. They each feel that Alicent was more motherly to the other but maybe Alicent was never ready to be a mom when her dad forced her to marry Vicerys.

I need someone like larys to give me a reality check to overcome my mid life crisis

I hate episodes where the needle barely moves. I swear they try to go hard on character exposition while lacking on progressing the story to their own detriment. You can do both. And when it's an epic story like this you need to progress the story significantly every episode. Daemon's city watch murder mystery is going to turn into an unnecessary minor speed bump for the story that will resolve next episode before tumbleron. Criston Cole just needs to die already. Rhaenyra is being pathetic in her wallowing and inaction. We are just waiting for Alicent's judgment day. Super long and boring Aegon story this whole season. Aemond doing what Daemon already did at Harrenhall. Just a boring boring boring episode.

Absolutely lost it at Emilia's "BEST SEASON EVAH" and the T2 clip, bravo. And any wonder that we get an entertaining episode with good pacing for once, when it's one not written by Hess/Condal? Color me unsurprised.

This season has just been killing it for me. This is quintessential Game of Thrones! It was always the political intrigue of the series that held me. The awesome intimated scenes between two characters with memorable dialogue; Ned and Robert, Lady Olenna and Tywinn, Varys and Tyrion, even Jaime and Bron! I know the big action set piece is coming to cap the season but it's these filler episodes that made me fall in love with the series in the first place! More! More! MORE!

I was 100% down with the Greens, but Cole's actions are beyond the pale. Domestic terrorism is never okay.
