These electrical requirements regrettably doubled the cost of F1 cars. This is the reason why we have limited companies financially able to compete. And why F1 today is much boring than what it was 30 or 40 years ago.

This is lame. Soooo many restrictions and they still make about 400hp/l. Imagine if the engineers were let loose to work their magic. We would have engines that make 1200 hp or more like they used to in the 80s but very reliably since technology has come a long way. That's 750hp/l

the turbo animation is backwards. Compressed air comes out of the turbo outlet, it does not enter the turbo as animated 1:47

The n/a engines were the best by far. The wicked sound from super high rpms is mind blowing to say the least.

I used to be keen on F1 but lost interest, it was far more interesting with all the cars and engines being individually designed.

This sport used to be interesting and a blast to watch, now a days it's so ridiculously regulated it's becoming exactly like Nascar, every car is the same and there's no advantages, like Nascar it's just follow the leader and winning is just shit luck with the same divers winning over and over.
