How Accurate Is Battlefield 6's New York Map?
Video Overview & Insights
Battlefield 6 released with a handful of MP maps set in the iconic New York City: Empire State and Manhattan Bridge. Both set in Brooklyn and only a short grenade throw from each other, I wanted to see just how accurate the designers got to their real-life inspiration: the neighborhood of Dumbo, Brooklyn.
Trying to branch out a bit, let me know what maps from other games you want me to look into next!
COD will also be back in full swing next week as we gear up for BO7
TIMECODES:
00:00 - How Accurate are Empire State and Manhattan Bridge?
The map is literally called Columbia Heights, lol.
02:04 -Overall NY Atmosphere
04:45 - Interiors and Buisinesses
The mad part of this video is I didn't even notice all the shops and restaurants because during a match most of those buildings are just ash and rubble by the time your curiosity kicks in 😂
08:08 - Mapping Out Battlefield 6's Brooklyn
09:44 - Real Life Comparison
Yep. Those are my favoritie plates. Native NYr here. I miss the Statue one the most

More User Perspectives
I find it interesting they changed the "kirk and paul" sign on the empire map. Really odd....
@pastyboi2789Near the water is a ice cream shop one of the most important dumbo brooklyn spots to eat in the summer.
@LetshaveMotioni loved hardline. they just didnt support it the way they needed
@holliday84297:20 guys live in apartments like this and don't see the problem
@ValdishthesecondAYYY LONG ISLAND
@johnme16this makes me realize how awesome downtown and Chinatown from bf hardline would be in bf6
@darktypefellaHow the fuck is call of duty almost 200gb while bf6 is only 80gb and has this much detail
@potis_roboticksbattlefield 2 had U.S. maps too... :(
@TheKusa5I also liked Hardline A LOT. Even go as far as saying its one of my favorite and most played battlefields
@Glorfindel99Saying Pepsi is better made me stop watching
@therealrobcgeneralofthe501stI found this guy to be really exceptionally annoying
@maxfungI've been in dumbo a decent amount over my life, it's pretty wild to go through it in battlefield
@o-manthehuman78678:10 it’s stuff like that that makes me feel as if AI mailed a lot of this stuff
@Benny_ViciousPepsi and Coca-Cola both bottle here in NYC along with all their respective associated brands. There is a bottling factory in canarsie and every Friday if you go and ask them for rejects they usually give it to you. Well they used to long time ago. Not sure if they still do.
@DarrylD369Any Austin from AliExpress ?
@GhostIDI hope players remake the maps from Hardline into this game.
@NotePortalThose boomboxes around the map gotta be part of a puzzle by the Phantom program
@StolenMemes323As a new Yorker says the loser from long Island. Not sub, no like, not watching past 2 minutes. Your a poser. Not a real New Yorker confirmed.
@craig9365Hey the guy is paying for like 900 sq ft in Brooklyn, he can’t afford to decorate
@facetentaclesOh no wonder pepsi tastes bad its bottled in new york
@tim96800:58 YOU ARE NOT ALONE! I LOVE BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE SO MUCH!!! Best game in the franchise hands down, absolutely flawless in all departments, balance, customization, vehicles, maps, modes, gunplay, all perfect
@peabrain687210:45 Eminem would approve of that wordplay😂
@TheGamingAthleteStop sign=slow down enough to see if cars are coming and keep going if they’re not. I’ve seen cops do it themselves, cops break the rules the enforce all the fkn time. System is rigged
@TheGamingAthleteLil music fact for y'all in story of Oj by Jay z he references dumbo refrencing he could've bought some property there and sold it off for a profit but he didn't and it made him feel well like a dumb-o
@dntdmtPepsi is far from superior
@brandontolson6448AnyAustin colab would b perfect w this tism for detail. if yk yk
@De1h_The City is best from a far. Seeing the skyline is awesome but being there is poo
@firefighterforlife6673HOW MUCH WAS THE APARTMENT?!
@brinkltlWow. So accurate. That art plaza though is a nightmare to have firefights in.
@1_for_luckTechnically Battlefield 2 had several American maps like Operation Road Rage or Operation Harvest...
@comfyElfBoth newyork maps ar cluttered fkin mass that u literally cant see your enemy
@klyronnWait the map is new york themed ..... :o
@colejohnson777I worked in the US this summer and my office building is in the game! sure the dumbo market aint there but its still cool to see
@kampfmuffins5507Hardline was actually a really fun game. I don't think it needed to be called a battlefield game, but it was super fun.
@maluinthe90sIT MY NEIGHBORHOOD THE BEST ONE
@DisguisedCat028:28 what is the name of that video game set in Miami?
@kolonelkingkrakerLada 2107 in autoshop in Brooklyn is diabolical
@sierra_112NYPD is in fact copyrighted
@minimumeffortenthusiast8242im going to be the one to say it i love bfv and hope they remake bfv maps like twisted steel or panzer storm
@THRAGGFlamingoHardline was sick. And bf3 also was in NY.
@DaBurveAs the quote started I really thought it was going to end "which means that I can officially confirm, through my own first hand experience that this map truly is TERRIBLE.....and i mean that as both the real life place and as a battlefield map."
@gaspara9817I loved hardline so your not alone😢
@eddyv2838WHICH 50 CENT GAME
@youtubeaccountlol4942Just to point out the skyline isn't 100% acerate and if you notice the "One Manhattan tower" (the ugly glass tower recently built) next to the Manhattan bridge in real life on the main island isn't in the multiplayer map but for some reason it's in the story mode? also WTC has a different design compare to the real life counterpart with the in game version looking more like the OG WTC tower one, also most of Brooklyn's downtown skyline isn't acerate either with majority of the towers being copy paste with fictional designs. Also some of the streets and buildings in the map itself isn't 1 to 1 acerate either but close enough to be recognized
@Insomniac_tvImagine playing BF6 in that one building that’s in BF6 and based off of a real life building.
It’s on the big bridge map
Found it out from X
