How did the English Colonize America?
British always Taking things it's not theirs.
The foundation of one of the most powerful countries in the world today. The history of the colonization of North America is one of the most well-known formations of any country across the globe. Spain, France, and Great Britain all played crucial roles in the development of what is now the influential United States of America. Motivated by economic reasons, and trying to expand their trade network and financial power, many European Nations ventured in search of more opportunities. But, today, most people particularly remember the colonial efforts of the English above all else. So, how did the English colonize America?

England, through much of the 17th century, was no match, either economically or militarily, with the Dutch, who thwarted every English attempt at setting up permanent trading posts in the East Indies. The tiny island of Run, festooned with precious nutmeg, was exchanged for the Dutch colony of Nieuw Amsterdam, renamed New York, the transfer of which gave the Dutch a complete monopoly on the spice trade. English attention was turned to America instead.
The success of the English colonies in America, based on the Greek models in Ionia, depended on the charters which emphasised independence and self-reliance to save the founding joint-stock company or the crown expense while maximising profit. The charters later became a legal stumbling block for the British Crown, but it’s likely that the ghosts of the company directors who framed them would be immensely gratified today by their success.

The English also shaped the morality and constitution.
Unlike the Spanish who ruined Mexico to Argentina.
Cartel's to Junta's
It was the greed of the Royal Family that caused the war.
The reason why the English left on the Mayflower from Plymouth England.
Taxes from the Aristocracy.
Also religious persecution from the Royal Family who bastardised Religion.

@themappillsIn my mind, the Commonwealth of Virginia is the mother state of all British North America, the USA and all folks of British blood in North America, whether literally or in a spiritual sense. North Carolina may hold the honour of the first English colony, but Jamestown was the first permanent one, from Jamestown came Virginia, and the success in Virginia likely encouraged the Puritans to land on Plymouth Rock, if Jamestown had failed, they might have been discouraged with the idea of going to the New World, and maybe settled in the Protestant Netherlands instead, which was popular with English Protestants, and the rest is, as they say, history. Jamestown was the place where it all began.
@sakkra93Everyone thinks what they are told and speak as if they where there . It was probably much much much more brutal than this by far . It’s sad that most native lost their land do to war / colonization and addictive substances like tobacco and opiates.

@mikkel6391“Never were a people so easily duped, they believe they’re recent war with us (Spain) was the most honorable. After all of an account were truck and balanced, England would find little to boast of, the navy of Spain has damaged the trade of England more than England navy could damage the commerce of Spain, and one galleon of ours sunk in a course of a seven years war is but poor compensation for Gibraltar blockaded for seven years. And surely our Mexico and Peru would have surely fallen into their hands had we not sent back their pirates Raleigh and drake with shame.” - letters from England by Robert Southey
@UnionBlue-h8e“The Anglo Saxons, your British blood have apparently deemed themselves as gods chosen ones, the anointed race of the lord, commissioned to drive out the heathen and to plant their institutions and religion in every land of Canaan they can subjugate. The idea of a destiny connected to this British white race has gone far to justify and if not sanctify many acts on either side of the Atlantic Ocean (Canada, New Zealand, Australia, United States ect) that if nations were to be personified, both England and the United States should hang its head in shame and weep scalding hot tears of repentance. War in its Anglo Saxon derivation means beware, and wise would we be as a people to beware before the unspeakable occurs, the final dissolution of the United States.” - Abiel livermore, the war with Mexico reviewed
@UnionBlue-h8eThe English navy not British
@Youtubechannel-po8czIn 1588 it wasn't the British navy, it was the English navy.

@FUGP72With no mention of enslaved Africans… interesting. 🧐
@David-vi9mmThe English didn’t colonize America, they colonized the thirteen colonies the Spanish colonized America America is a continent, not a country
@alljoe99s55Eroupean superioty and others
@aGoober_Editz1Everyone needs to keep in mind that it was the nature, the methodical practice and style, of English colonization, as opposed to Spanish-style colonization, that has led to the relative success of the United States and Canada, and the relative failures of states south of the Rio Grande.
I'm sick of explaining it. Just Google search- "Current problems resulting from the Spanish colonial legacy."
What's really amazing, is that, for over a century, Spain ignored mostly the latitude that is now the United States, in their lust for gold and silver in Central and South America. But the latitude of what is now the United States, is the most similar to the climate of Europe. (Granted, southern South America is also similar to the climate of Europe.) But the southern part of South America is NOT where the Spanish and Portuguese focused.
@samr.england613Seems like the British have a history of building their empires from peddling in questionable substances - tobacco from America and Opium for China. For such a "devout" nation, very unchristian of them if I may say so myself...
@OceanstaVideo was very helpful
