They represented themselves well, but I don’t see how anyone can say this was a win.

As a Belgian, I have to admit Iran was the better football team then us. Sadly, this tournament is about 'sucker' where political appreciation and commercial interests are more determining then actually being good at the game as a collective. And my country shamefully is better at sucking up to both the commercialism as well as the political extremism. Great performance, Iran! Not just on the pitch but equally by being one of the few competitors who actually understand the sport of football and honoured it!



Iran's football association should consider to start a new international federation which actually cares about football as well as their fans.
