How NFL Teams Make Money
Video Overview & Insights
The National Football League has been a staple in American sports for nearly a century. Today, it is one of the most profitable sports for team owners with most NFL teams valued at over $2 billion.
3:09 This raises a question. What about NFL teams that also are home to MLS teams, such as New England, Seattle, Charlotte, etc.
Where does the revenue for MLS games go since theyâre hosted IN the NFL stadium, yet itâs a non NFL event?

They donât they all exist through sports illustrated meaning itâs entirely fake, same every sports league. we dont want to watch other sports they try to like stop us (you only hurt yourselves by trying to stop us from doing something) just run the whole season the whole year and start over after the superbowl, then use different people the next season if the dont want to, then theres no celebrity players for decades straight robbing everyone else, thats why teams and leagues were owned or just sports illustrated

@sheltonmichelmacuacua6750Thereâs too much advertising mid game compare that to pro rugby which added a shot clock for conversions and penalties to prevent time wasting.
@ciaranbrkSorry but i don't like this person voice sound like he got something stuck in his nose
@joshuan00The 2nd I saw the antichrist Trump, I stopped the video! I have never hated anything or ANYONE in my life more than I hate that lying POS!
@TedReynoldsJrKansas â€
@PeterBrown349For the 2025 season, I will not subscribe to a streaming services to watch NFL games. No Amazon, no Peacock, nothing, no ESPN, nothing.
@NoamPitlick-bg8kwTrump hates the NFL because they'd never let him buy a team.....ever.
@johns204The NFL has taken over the revenues once made by movies, tv, and music. All of those industries have failed to keep americans entertained the past 30 years. And since gambling has been legalized, it's broken open a whole new level for the NFL.
@marvinshenkTrump's still sore the NFL refused to allow him to be an owner. đđđ
@Charles-n8pâ€
@LyfeFacts247The kansas City Chiefs and the chicago bears are both family owned.
@mattmccullough1093No wonder why the NFL keeps helping the Chiefs make it to the Superbowl to make that money.
@Eriksc60In this video he talks about owning a NFL team, OK, they 1st have to pay a franchise fee,but that's a one shot deal, and it's very true that in order to get a NFL team, these owners are multi-BILLIONAIRES already, but these NFL teams make there revenues from the admission fees, from fans, just look at how much it costs to go to a game, never mind the drinks, hotdogs, popcorn, candy, it's worse than going to your local theater, nowadays, and the networks want a fee from the owners to broadcast the game, it was revealed, unless you don't have cable or pay-per-view,or the NFL NETWORK,you are going to have to wait for the highlights on Utube. That's why TOM BRADY, is a minor owner of OAKLAND, as well as working for FOX,Sports network, on the NFL games. Just look at BILL BELICHECK,who recently got hired by NORTH CAROLINA, as the new head coach. Also just look at what happened with the JETS, the owner GETTY OIL,fired his head coach and GM.,it's in the NEWS folks, but the BILL'S have a very good chance of getting to the SUPER BOWL, but the divisional playoffs are under way,with KC,in there already.
@richardyoung871Wtf does Trump have to do with owning a football team đ€
@MalyMalTheCPAChiefs winning another Superbowl NFL is banking on it ...
@Paul-fe9ffnbc cant even make an nfl video without taking a dig at trump, sad!
@Coutts00SHEESH!
@carsonjamesiv2512We are avtually due for a new team
@kyle6781Standard cartel behavior: erect major barriers to entry; impose group boycotts on competitors and prospective competitors who deviate from cartel rules; and, most importantly, extract massive money from all taxpayers through threat of loss of cartel membership. Goal is to build palaces (stadia) with tax money, effect major taxpayer money transfers to owners and, indirectly, to players to facilitate gaudy displays of wealth. Taxpayer transfers rely primarily on sales taxes. In sum, all citizens - whether wealthy or indigent - bear the economic burden of paying % of income to fund the palaces, palatial trappings, and enormous compensation paid to machine's apparatchik.
@billblessing6454ATTENTION TO ALL NFL OWENERS! How would you like to save millions of dollars? Well here is my suggestion for a new salary system for the NFL. (or all sports) Pay the players on a winning bases, the more they win the more they make. Ok here is how you do it. Let all contracts right now be executed or fulfilled. Pay all new players coming into the league a set amount . Once all contracts have been completed you pay all first string players, both Offense and Defense the same set amount. Pay second string players a lower set amount. So if the Team wins it's first game of the season they get paid more, if they don't the pay stays the same, so-on-and-so-forth. So by the end of 18 weeks they are making 7 figures if they are winning. With this system we as fans will really see some damn good games. As an example Dallas Cowboys 2024, they have the talent and are be paid millions of dollars to players not producing, I don't get it? I bet they would be winning more to pay that mortgage payment but no they have a "guaranteed amount". Also why should the Offensive linemen in the trenches make less than the QB they are protecting? Do you think there is a college athlete out there that wouldn't take $500,000 per game? I mean Dak Prescott "MAKES" not earns $3.5 million a game. No man is worth that much money. Just a thought.
@rpicard6741A lot of Robert Kraft's operating expenses go to massage parlors.
@noherekruger3738No tax because NFL is "Entertainment" ?
@David_85X0Football sucks
@ryanschlagenhauf322Corrupt Conservunist taxpayer funded socialism!
@TheAZPro-yi8buthe NFL is over-rated
@mwesigwaarnold4805Government assistance aka subsidies & Tax Exemptions. Plus by colluding to only keep 32 team not allowing other new teams to compete. Thatâs how they get rich.
@chicofresh4396Gotta have muh' f'ball! 'Murica!
@u686st7Not getting any of my money. If your product is "The official ___ of the NFL" it pretty well guarantees that I won't buy it.
@u686st7NFL and NFL teams are all about making money. Nothing to do with sport or winning the Superbowl, its purely about money.
@pokerphil1stI wouldn't spend a dime supporting this nonsense. NFL is a joke.
@billbaird2273New updated video needed please
@JAve-uq2jmIâm sorry but what does showing Donald Trump have anything to do with this topic? Gratuitous political posturing? Donât understand?
@Letsgetbacktobasics2024Typical CNBC taking a hit on DJT. This is supposed to be how NFL teams make money and they show a clip of DJT taking a dig at one single NFL player but they show it anyways.
@colincanty6698The nfl is a disgusting organization , and nearly another btanch of the Federal Government .
sodom and goamoerica , see GA. HB 757
If the Packers are non profit where does the money go
@icemike1How teams make money? The NFL and the owners rip off the fans, thats how.
@stevenplanic1167Bring back the cigarette section you old heads. You're letting your stupid son's friends run their clubs in your stadium.
@CoffeeShopCloudNice journalism
@CoffeeShopCloudThis is all they care about đ
@SDixonsc86432 teams received more than $255M in 2018. Thatâs a nice spread of wealth, good to see that socialism does work.
@barrilitomusicGreat video - please update with more detail and current numbers!
@ZGiddyXI heard the city of Las Vegas or the taxpayers paid $700M and half of it comes from the owner to build the Raiders/Allegiant Stadium. Crazy!
