The problem is that your left back will have no space to be the one that stands higher between the two (with Alexander on the other side) because he would play exactly in the space occupated by Vini Jr. If you send Vini to the center, he will have to learn not to do the same movements as M'Bappé... On the right side, there's always more "free" space because every player of the actual team tends to go back to the center (Rodrygo, Brahim, even Valverde when he plays high) For me the best solution with the players we already have in the team (if we consider Trend as a probably Real Player) is to put Camavinga instead of Udogie (he showed he can also play as left back and even more if it's advanced) and Bellingham instead of Camavinga, with Rodrygo or Brahim in front.

13:41 . I am seeing Rodrygo on the left hand side as a LWB, similar to Frimpong's role. Rodrygo is a better player at the LHS than he is in the RHS. He can make both inside and outside runs and Frimpong basically plays as the right winger in Bayer. So I think Rodrygo and Vini will create a fantastic duo on the Left hand side. Adding to that, Mbappé has to step up as a striker, I know he's scoring goals and all but that is not how a number 9 moves.

Bellingham ain't creative enough, and tends to favour the left half space, it could work with trent being the main creative hub, but I don't see Jude as a forward like that. More of a Lampard profile than a Wirtz, Guler would be perfect.

I often wonder where this idea that Bellingham is not creative enough or a playmaker came from, a lot of people seem to think we should remove him from the role behind the striker when he works best there, as he is leading in Champions League and La Liga assists this season. and the front three play better with him there as he understands their movements the most, plus he is able to cover defensively for the lack of defensive effort from the front three and we’ve seen the impact of when he doesn’t or a different player plays there there’s a lack of cohesion. I think he can accel even more under Xabi and reach even greater heights as his numbers offensively and defensively are good this season and last season even though our system is not as advanced.

I think u approached this from the wrong angle. It would be foolish for Alonso to try and fit the current Real Madrid squad into his system. He will just adapt to the players instead of forcing the players to adapt to him.

Alonso with Madrid will play more than likely 433 or 4231, similar to what he did at Real Sociedad, Spanish football is very different to the type of football is played at Germany
