Something that stood out to me: you related the many times you returned home disappointed with your photographs. That resonated with me. Thanks too for your opening remarks about our obsession with gear, as I'm convinced that that the gear manufacturers are overwhelming us with their unrelenting promotion of "bigger and better/ latest and greatest", often from YouTube influencers. As you note, we might do better working on technique. Nicely done.

More User Perspectives
For beginners I would recommend prime lenses especially at the beginning and also something like 50mm (if cropped censor then 35) for the reason you are being forced to take a step back and learn how to position yourself. Also they come a lot cheaper.

I love the Fujifilm system and its lenses, but Iโm worried I might miss out on something if I donโt choose a full-frame camera like the Canon R5. Can you advise me? Will landscapes shot with APS-C also be good for printing and commercial use?
