All properly cooked steaks are cooked until well done with no pink showing (Acts 15:29, Leviticus 17:11). The red that people refer to as myoglobin was, and still should be considered blood, and needs to be cooked out of the meat.

Well I am glad you cooked it medium well. I for one do not like bloody steak and all the cooking shows always want it cooked bloody. So, good for you man for not doing what everyone else does. Not everyone eats steak medium rare to rare.

I’ve always used Ghee for grilling steaks, but since avocado oil has a higher smoke temp, I may try and switch. BTW, your Shiner is the best beer, but subject of another vid.

I swear I get heartburn when I eat canola oil. I cut it out of my diet years ago but it's still hard to avoid when eating out.
