Driving a Tesla is a nightmare. It’s a pretty disgusting experience — you have to keep staring at the display all the time, so you can’t properly pay attention to the traffic situation or watch the road. And you have to search for everything in the display menu. There’s no separate stalk, button, or switch for anything — you have to find everything in the menu: turning on the lights, switching between low and high beams, shifting gears — drive, reverse, park — the parking brake, fog lights, wipers, simply everything. Controlling the functions through that display is extremely complicated. The display shines painfully into your eyes, and constantly looking at it makes your eyes burn and causes terrible fatigue.

Finally, someone who doesn't talk slow just to make a longer video. A lot of videos today have a slow pace, like they're trying to sound all friendly and warm. I don't watch YouTube because I have extra time on my hands. I just want to get the promised information that I'm looking for as quikly as posssible, and this guy does a great job of that. Kudos...

@mendufkahajdari4997You speak so clearly and smartly, but your car is really dirty! You should clean it — driving a dirty car doesn’t feel comfortable, don’t you think?
@ganzoobatchul4244good and informative
@Boberg-x2This is great video, thanks
@atahad3895This tutorial should be available on screen when you buy the vehicle..... I know that Hertz car rental has big problems because people didn't know how to use the car there was no tutorial

@bhuvansachdevaMy son purchased a Tesla today and stopped by an hour ago to show us. I’ve never drove an EV before and I’m an old school Gearhead. The car is amazing!

@michaelgr2330Dude clean your car.
@graphguyWould have been great if you actually panned to where the card key went to start rather than describing it. 🫠
@a.williams03Hi, thank you so much for the useful and informative tutorial video! It was really helpful for beginners like me. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I have been driving an Audi A4 Saloon for many years. Recently, we got the newly launched Tesla Model Y. It’s my first time driving it, and I found reverse parking difficult. In my Audi, I could simply release the brake, and the car would automatically move backward, making parking easier. However, in the Tesla, I need to press the accelerator pedal, but when I do, the car moves very quickly in reverse, which scared me. I stopped driving after that.
Can you please give me some tips on how to reverse park using the accelerator pedal?
Clean the car, fool!
@jimbruni7945Great Video
@geraldw9277Great tutorial.
@dizzymayleenot sure im keen with everything on an ipad...
@KingLizard84TGood tutorial video and informative. Thanks for sharing
@kennyd2694Great beginner tips! My model x is in service and I have a model y loaner.
@jenievans3118It's too digital for my taste. I want an EV at some point, but I want old school buttons and levers to control everything. Not a bunch of apps.
@teejaynumber13This video was helpful. I have a Y Launch on order, and it's overwhelming trying to learn about EVs. I'm excited but very nervous about the learning curve.
@AnneMichiganYou said you would link in your description the three different modes cruise control, auto steer, and full self driving. But no link is there. Please add it to your description. Otherwise thank you for a quick getting started video.
@lahannidThis was great, I pick mine up on Friday. As only a Lexus owner I'm nervous but also ready to embrace this Tesla Culture!
@rmantini1AVIS offered a Tesla model 3 to me to get my car faster so I took it. It wasn’t until I arrived at the car that I realized I didn’t know how to start it or use most of the controls. This quick start video was a great way to get going quickly. Thanks
@md11markVery helpful. Renting one off turo tomorrow to drive for two days before I buy my model 3. Thanks for the info
@DANNYBLVCKThank you!
