This is probably a stupid question, but I just need clarification please. When you say “stack the trays and put a weight on top”, I’m confused. How do you separate the trays? Are you literally putting the bottom of one tray directly on top of the seeds in the tray below??? The video shows a space between each tray. Please help!

I just watched your video for the first time. When you are starting to water from the bottom I see you have a tray within a tray... Is that the same identical tray one you purchased with holes and one without or is it a different tray? Thanks for your time. Also, if you were growing watercress would you do it differently?

MICROGREEN SEEDS I USE

bro youre a fucking boss. I want to say I can tell but I cant truly, but I want to say I can tell you have a common natural sense or perspective, which I like and can relate to. I wanted to say a common natural "unfiltered" sense, but I don't truly know from where you filter through all this information from, is it straight common natural sense or picked up from others here and where, not that there is *necessarily any wrong with that, but I like to listen to someone coming from a solid sense of perspective, a natural perspective, coming from experience, a common sense, rather than an accumulation of information from everywhere, which imo is basically what a lot of people do. Not my style. But, judging from my take on you, I will buy your book and accumulate your knowledge like a normie. I'll soak it all in, because you seem legit. I'm looking at ebay now, seems way too cheap, for a fucking boss. Yes that's me lifting you up to the skies and I don't know if i'll regret that later, just going by my feeling of you. yeah I just found you btw. thank you and goodbye!

BLOG POST:

Excellent video! Really informative and well-explained. The only point I’d respectfully disagree with is the suggestion that chlorophyll could act as a supplement for the biosynthetic pathway of heme. While chlorophyll and heme do share a structurally similar porphyrin ring, their core metals are fundamentally different—chlorophyll contains magnesium (Mg²⁺), whereas heme contains iron (Fe²⁺). The human body cannot simply substitute one for the other, as the entire function and biochemical role of the molecule depends on the specific metal ion at its center. Chlorophyll does not convert into heme, nor does it directly support heme synthesis. Still, great content overall!

Love following you and have had great success in growing micro greens. You do advise not to rinse your micro greens when storing them in the refrigerator. Is it necessary to rinse them when you’re ready to eat them. Thank you.

Are you saying you are sitting 6 trays on top of each other or a separated rack?????

Excellent information. One query. I am doing it in a room in India, temp around 39. What equipment to use to increase the humidity and lower the temp?

Hi @DonnyGreens just getting into growing microgreens. Thank you for all your videos so far. I am curious in the germination stage when you water you talk about not watering to much or too little. If you were to count in seconds of water - how many seconds would you take to water each tray at the start before stacking it for germination process?

Donny, can you reuse the growing medium? Like the potting mix you use.
