My query :
You used spawn to colonize one petri dish - and the inner stem to colonize another petri dish.
Then you used the second petri dish only to introduce the culture to the bag.
Why did you work with two petri dishes in the first place?

I've been using this video as guidance as an amateur/ first time grower. Half of my monotubs are infected and I am deeply concerned that months of overall preparation and being destroyed by trichoderma. It is difficult to find the correct information I should be following but what I have found is fanning during fruit has been a terrible experience for ruining my cakes with trichoderma! As much as I appreciate the videos, following them has been a terrible experience for me and my cultivation process! Thank you for trying to help but for anyone out there reading this I really do not recommend opening the tub daily to fan, I've lost so much of my work to following this method π’

I have tried about 10 times and very little has grown, usually contamination has set in by about 12 to 14 days with no mushrooms, it is obviously not so easy

The information is great, but I have a question to learn more: you injected a lot of spores and a lot of different genetics into sterile grains. Wouldn't you get a higher yield with fewer spores? How would this genetic variation affect oyster mushrooms or shiitake mushrooms?

How important is LIGHT (natural or grow light) during the fruiting process? 2) Heating pads if your temps go up and down: I'm doing this in my office in the garage. I get good air circulation and light, but inconsistent temps, and 3) Where can I get some of these filters, tape and petri dishes? I don't have a microscope, so I'm hoping for an easier solution. Thanks for the video. It's wonderful.
