If you would like to keep this a vegan recipe, you can substitute the cream with plant-based milk. This recipe was very creamy, and the flavors blended very well. The Indian flavors that included garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, and cumin were not overwhelming and thus would go extremely well with any meal. Better than the NY Times recipe for Thanksgiving 2025 - I can tell by looking at it. Turmeric balanced by traditional seasonings and much less dairy richness. Yukon Gold or other medium starch potatoes will work more optimally. Hence, need a metric or English weight.
