Hiya, i bought a Mycelium on a Rye cake online to grow at home as my fist time experiment to grow mushrooms and i left it in an unventilated small room under the stairs and i even put some artificial uv lights and a heating mat to help the growing process cause it is winter where i am and i saw some oins coming out in the first week and nothing happened for next 4 weeks and i am very disappointed and thought i have messed it up and looked online for the possible reasons and i found mushrooms need proper ventilation and i took them out and left them in my longue where there the fresh air ventilation and ample of light and i saw the fresh pins coming out very fast on few days, but cause the first pins didnt come out well the Mycelium grown on top of them too and My question is - is it safe to consume those fresh Mushrooms which are perfect looking or is there any chance i get food poisoning !??
