This being the most recent mario thing to be done on here kind of bums me out because mario is home to so many interesting foods and especially with mario kart world having an entire mechanic around food or even some of the smaller things like the mario RPGs having the really interesting stuff like in mario and luigi brothership having the Potato Gelato and Hotato Stew

@sean-paulmace7561I think the miso might be the culprit in the second version. That’s a LOT of umami. Cut it back by half and it probably won’t be so aggressive a dish overall.

@Steamer_No._96I had a beautiful mushroom pasta from a seaside cafe in Bowen, Queensland. It was almost - almost - perfect. The only issue was the oil. It was absolutely drenched in oil - I actually put the excess oil in a water glass, and it came up to about halfway. But the taste of the food was phenomenal. Honestly can't remember enjoying any pasta dish more than that.
@buddyltdDiced mushrooms are the best way to still enjoy that mushroomy taste if you don't like the leathery texture.
