People often describe failure as a teachable moment— a necessary stumble on our way to improvement. But learning from our mistakes isn’t always easy, especially when those failures are demoralizing, overwhelming, or just downright confusing. So what prevents us from turning our mistakes into mastery? Explore the biggest obstacles of learning from failure, and how to cultivate a growth mindset.

I dont get it... Real life is different. Failure dont directly come from lack of investment of hard work time money and mental health in my case. In fact I have it all, plenty but one factor that determines everything isnt my strong suit. And that is luck. External circumstances are beyond my control. And they changed the game.

WHAT IS FAILURE???? -------- EVERYONE FAILS, it's Absolutely Essential, it's how we Learn and Grow from DAY 1 as babies. It's part of life and you need it. HOW DO WE COPE WITH FAILURE ???? ------ Many people have problems getting over failure because they pop back into your mind unexpectedly and without warning. BUT, when you collect all your failures into a group they soon lose their impact as there will be many. So when the above happens, choose your next failure and the next one etc until you remind yourself they are common and part of life, put them all in a box in your mind, close the lid and walk away from it. It works and helps you move on !! LIFE IS GOOD AND EACH DAY IS A GIFT.

If want to determine either you are an aware person or not , look how you’re treating yourself when you make a mistake or you’re failed in something , if you’re treating yours with kindness that means you’re aware if you not you should cure yourself.

me here after not being able to clutch a 12mn project due to overwhelmed feeling, chores, and perfectionism amidst cramming
@PaupauMaI failed a very important test recently because of excessive studying. I'm constantly surrounded by people with high expectations of me and I have forgotten how failure is not that bad sometimes.
@BelguteivSo wait, you have to build a higher tolerance for making mistakes but that only happens when you have like a strong highlight of your strengths and successes in the beginning of your task.
@FinancialSeyiI can't focus on what I've done right because I can't do anything right
@matthewstar2880When u do your best in examinationa and further your marks go very down but your mind and your confidence saying that u get more marks u did your best but result upset me ,
@movieflix789How am i supposed to focus on my successes when none of them felt like one, I haven't felt appreciated for any of my successes because my sister has accomplished much more than me,I don't know if its my family or me.But how are we supposed to not focus on our failures.I failed a test for the first time and I don't know how to get over it.Iam probably overthinking it but all my bits of self esteem has disappeared.
@pakoraloverxoxoI failed shamefully and horrobly.. its totally my fault 💔.. I wish I can undone what I did or foregive myself 😞.. its weird how one choice can ruin yourlife for ever..
@ahmedthamir9531Mistakes are good because we have to fix them by learning from them.
@elizabethramirezsie3700all of us make mistakes it is necessary to understand without failure there is no way to achieve success. There is no human that doesn't make mistakes, and as the video mentioned we shouldn't forget about our achievements while concentrating on fixing our mistakes.
@midori_2323It seems curious to me that the initial study/experiment set up a situation where there were no objectively correct answers (at least as I understand it). CERTAIN, RANDOMLY SELECTED PEOPLE, GOT IT WRONG -- PERPETUALLY -- BY DESIGN. Thus, the study focuses on how people feel about underperformance or "failure," and their reaction to it. It does not tell us the utility of testing, nor the utility of being able to overcome initial failure. It also doesn't seem to sort for people who would actually fail -- failure was random. Since there was no way for the "failure" subjects to correct their initial "mistakes," from what I can see, it made success impossible for that subset. And, as we all know, success AFTER failure is often sweeter -- especially when how you underperformed can be discerned. The fundamental point of this study was to see how people can be demoralized by failure, but its flaw was there was no remedy -- there were no correct answers.
@dennisbullock5028❤
@mafev.8430So the moral of the story is to not be hard on yourself, see your success, and improve from your mistakes with passion.
So it's all about self-talk. This really works in sports as well, as some sports are very random. So it's easy to get scored on and become hard on yourself, and by becoming hard on yourself you don't learn as well. You don't process new information cuz you're so stuck on what just happened, don't learn as well. You don't process new information cuz you're so stuck on what just happened. Honestly almost like trauma.
Guys I’m not baby cry but… Imma sob waves of tears I do really need someone’s hug at almst 4 am
Tried my best n woefully got worst . Ahh
I failed my a level guys😢😢😢 I hope Cambridge regrets failing the intellectual person of who i am
@minahilkhan-779pI AM HERE TO OVERCOME FAILURE
@wise9064so what I'm get is from this statement " Building on what you're doing right can more effective than focusing on what you did wrong " is you are always failed because you're wrong all the time and never ever find the right.
So what if all of this are mistakes, so the success is also mistake but we tolerance it 🤔
Please give me your opinion guys, I'm kinda losing my mind now 😌

@pravallikaChittareddy❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍❤️
@MsbahMasbahThis was both clear and engaging.
@VichoriaCariloneJust lost the state chess qualification round by half point.. and these appeared
@Anuj-f1hAlso I only came here to do my homework, but this is some good advice
@DongjunKim-i8vSo basically my gym teacher is making me fail, as he gives me low self esteem
@DongjunKim-i8vI think... I think maybe I don't pay attention to anything because it makes it easier to forget my failures and at least get the job done despite having a lot of failure to discourage me.
@BuyFromSmallBuisnessMistakes are our opportunities for growth. It’s empowering to own them, learn from them, & move forward. Learning from mistakes empowers us to do better next time. Using those moments to learn & improve makes us stronger. I’m expressing exactly what I mean because I’ve lived it, seen it, learned from it, & experienced enough to know this is true.
@DanHannafordSimple and effective explanation.
@stinenstaylenGreat animations
@akhileshk1584It's hard to not focus on my failures when there are no succeses in sight
