How to Interpret Home Drug Testing Results

What if you had three lines on the test and the top and bottom row had a lines and all lines in the middle but one line

— @Cltjac556

Hi, it’s Dr. Nuesse, Certified Medical Examiner with Exploro. In this video, I explain how to interpret home drug test results and what it means if you see a faint pink line. This applies whether you’re testing for multiple drugs or using a specific test like one for THC (marijuana).

How to Read the Results:

What if the test line is only half of a line? As in it’s only half of a line but it’s still visible?

Example would be like this

Control line
l__l

Test line
l_ l

Would this mean I passed?

I hope this makes sense lol

— @ThatCommentingGuy

1. Invalid Test

• If there is no line in the control field (C), the test was not performed correctly and is invalid.

Does a faint line matter on control field ?

— @TheFantasySurgeon

2. Positive Result

• If there is a line in the control field (C) but no line in the test field (T), this indicates a positive result for the drug being tested.

my line is very faint for cocaine, i got a test tomorrow at 2pm at a medical centre , will it be enought for me to pass? A VERY FAINT LINE

— @jackjack7746

3. Negative Result

• If there is a line in the control field (C) and any line in the test field (T)—no matter how faint—the result is negative.

If i am passing multiple at home marijuana tests 50 ng with a ghost line can i go to my clinic test with confidence?

— @wyattphillips28

Example:

• In a multi-drug test, you may see varying darkness of lines in the test fields. For THC, if the control field has a clear line but the test field shows a faint pink line, this still counts as a negative result.

Understanding this distinction is key to interpreting your home drug test results accurately.
