For a second I thought “ double dipping “ was going to mean to do the plasma donation and the sperm donation at the same time. Make sure if you do it that you do so at the sperm bank and not the blood clinic because the nurse will not react the same way at both places .

My first job after undergrad was doing research for Pfizer. There was a Phase I research unit on the company ground which back in early 2000 paid $3000/month for volunteers. This was more than the $1600-$1800/month intern paid I started at and not much less than the $44K/yr starting salary after the 1 year internship. It's good money consider you just needed to be normal and healthy. People lived there for the duration so housing is free and so are the food. The volunteers just played games and watched TV all day long, and the nurses would draw blood and measure vitals every few hours. Fun fact, this is how Viagra was discovered. It was originally designed to be new high blood pressure medication, but it didn't do a good job at that so it was a failure, but when it's time to pull the plug the test subjects didn't want to give their non-working meds back....
