good idea but can't you just turn the bag on it's side then cut the other side off to get more depth

@christop6154Her idea to flip was stupid ..as all the soil came pouring out the sides....
Thats why she put the wicker frame up to hide and catch that loose soil.
Stupid idea...
Don't forget to pierce the bottom first! No drainage, plants will go nasty.
NTW, you can provide more root depth by hummocking up the compost on the bag to make it narrower, but deeper.

@reginahetherington1769Can the grow bags be placed on decking on a balcony? I think the one we used may have caused the decking to rot, should there be drainage holes at the bottom?

@loispack4060I've been using these grow bags for years I've never doubled up, I just plant 3 shirley F1 seedlings into them. I always get around 400-500 best tasting tomatoes just off 3 plants. I use tomatoe feed once they are out of the seedling stage in every other feed. I did like the wicker frame you put around it tho as it makes it look alot better.

@thetruecookie8115Lovely but how did you get that wicker frame around it unless it's just a frame and doesn't have a bottom to it or you could start the grow bag inside the wicker basket
