What is iCloud? iCloud is cloud storage for Apple devices such as iPhone or iPad or Mac computers. Instead of taking up space in your iPhone, you can simply use iCloud. It will also back up and store your information securely across all devices.
It’s been around since 2011. Everyone gets 5GB of free iCloud storage to get started and it’s easy to upgrade at any time.
This was not for beginners, it was for people looking for additional information. I am an ABSOLUTE BEGINNER and I had a lot of questions along the way of the video that were very basic but I AM A BEGINNER, I KNOW NOTHING. First off, when he clicked the iCloud Drive button he didn't tell you where that button was; later I found out it was in the Finder after looking around; it would have been nice for him to say, "in the Finder" and show clicking the Finder icon. I'm sure it helped some people but I was looking for something that was for actual beginning, know nothng people like me.
To use iCloud, go to icloud.com. Use your Apple ID to sign in to iCloud.
Once you sign in, you’ll see a number of apps and services you can use right on the website.
what you are not make it clear is , where should i saved my pictures and keep it safe there even if i erase the pics in my phone
You can access mail, contacts, calendar, photos, iCloud Drive, notes, reminders, pages, numbers, keynote, find friends and find iPhone.
You also have a settings option that shows you the storage, how the storage is being used, and all your devices.

One of the most underutilized features of iCloud is iCloud Drive where you can save any document. This will also show on your Mac’s Finder window for easy file storage.
This is similar to Dropbox or Google Drive.

Use versus utilize: isn't the word use comprehensive enough?
I mean I wouldn't use a 200 team of horses to drag 1 pound toy or I wouldn't use the word use, mmmm Let's see which is more comprehensive, should I use the word utilize when I could merrily say use yes I could merrily say use, would I merrily utilize the word use?

Question. I have been working off of an external drive for a while, and want to move it all to my icloud drive. But it wont let me. It says uploading folder to icloud drive is not supported.?? so how is this a useful storage option?
