Dumped Cable, Got internet 300 Mpbs speed with Xfinity $40/mo. locked price 5 years. Paid $139 for Prime subscription/year. I now get literally hundreds & hundreds of channels, movies etc. from apps. like : TUBI, PLEX, ROKU, YOUTUBE(Not paid), SAMSUNG TV PLUS W/A (Samsung TV), all for $52.52 average cost per month verses typical national average cable bill of $100-$300 month. Mine was $185/Month so I'm saving $2220- $630(NOW)= ($1590 savings annually) I also got a $29 antennae from Walmart which added my local stations (17 more). I had to get my wife use to commercials again, but I convinced her we can use the savings to eat out more often and buy things that matter: gifts for others (and her lol)!

Very inclusive informational video but delivered at too rapid pace, hard to follow, could play at a slower speed or keep backing up and replaying.

@edithleon7615Ok....b I am 72 yrs old, I don't want to pay for anything unless it is initially for a device or antenna to use off grid. I don't want to "sign up" for anything. So.... Do another podcast just for TV dummies.

@patriciaosuchhI. Can you help? Please? Im moving in with my sister, temporarily. She does not have Internet service. She relies on her phone. I need internet service, and I am not tech savvy. Can you recommend a reliable, affordable way for me to get internet service in her house. She has the basic cable package and refuses to add or change anything.

@pamelahawkey5670Digital antenna? āDigital antennaā is pure marketing/advertising. An antenna picks up radio frequency signals transmitted by the TV broadcast station. Those signals are not digital. The digital information is contained/packaged within those radio frequency signals to become decoded by your digital TV's circuitry. ANY antenna picks up radio frequency.
@tedinvt4631I don't care if all internet goes out of business people are more lazy and ever because of it and causes more health problems on people's life

@bobcurran2881I have an indoor antenna. I get 36 channels. Network and PBS, METV, and movie ch., local stations. Very happy, great picture too. All I need.
@Linda-n9xMy grandparents wanted me to cancel their cable and get them set up with cheaper Wi-Fi and streaming to save money. The problem is that they are not flexible about what they want to watch and when they get to watch it. They want to watch cable shows at cable times of the day, plus live local and national sports and very particular news stations.
It's driving me up the wall trying to get all of that for them, save them money, and teach them how to navigate it all themselves. If I have to drive over there to put a show on for one of them in the middle of the night one more time I'm gonna have a melt down. I told them that's not how this works, but they didn't listen. They can't grasp the concept of not finding shows based on channel numbers either. What the heck am I supposed to do?
There is NO such thing as a "digital" tv antenna (that's just marketing to get you~!). TV signals are RF, all analog and digital signals are relayed by the RF signal. An antenna from 1950 will work just fine with a digital TV.
@lebushaw7 channels with antenna and nine I actually want

@joshuapowell1868How can I cut cable and still record the local channels. I have an antenna attached to the tv now
@isabellarubinson3391Invest in a good ole fashioned rooftop antenna not from Amazon! Dont go so large you cant figure how to put it together many large ones weigh 17 pounds! Factor in taking it up & having control of it on your house as you mount it

@memberarnshine6377Great video. Depending on location, some viewers will get much better reception if they use an outdoor TV antenna.
