Something I have learned is once you hit level 3, it seems it is a bell curve/parabola to a degree. You spend time understanding and learning how to produce, then you hit level 3 where you get very creative and abstract, then 4 and 5 you tone down that creativity to understand better how to song structure for specific reasons, you turn every sound into a reason rather than playing sounds to just sound nice.
