I Make $15K/Month With 2 AI Apps

Video Overview & Insights

This is how Fernando Pessagno built two AI apps to over $15,000/month.

Thanks so much for having me, Pat, and letting me share a bit of my journey!

I hope it inspires others to see how building a SaaS can help you bounce back after a layoff or tough times.

Nice one. Wish the interview was twice as long. Seemed like Fernando was very open and had a lot more to share. Thumb up from me

I see many amazing stories. It really inspires me to follow all the advice I hear.
But, there is one thing I never really hear. Of all the awesome success stories, I never hear people talk about how they coop with the financial change in their lives. I remember one story of a guy who was basically broke, and now making thousands of $$$ per month. That makes me wonder… and it could make a great video. A video where you could give some advice and tips. 'cause every time I finished one of your videos, I have questions about these people:
• Do they ever fall for temptations of getting that awesome Ferrari?
• What do they do with the loads of money they got, all of a sudden?
• Do they spend, invest or just putting it into their savings account?
• What are the risks to look out for?

Great vid. I really needed this, I've been stuck on my build. I got some good tidbits here I'm sure will help me keep moving forward

2:45... says multiple features are bad... 9:17... offers multiple features on his app. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm willing to bet that the 99% of YouTubers who claimed that they're making a boatload of money by building apps with AI are nothing but liars and manipulators!! Otherwise, why would you be wasting your time making these how to videos on YouTube to teach others unless that is your main stream of income is from your YouTube viewers!!

Is there any coding involved? Which tools are used??

idea is nothing without action. action makes you learn, learning give you idea, irritate on action. it's simply action.
watching this video without action is nothing.

Truly inspiring—so humble, yet I can only imagine the experience, skill, and courage it takes. Thank you for being honest and sharing such valuable thoughts. Keep up the amazing work, @fer_MOMENTO! 15:01

no matter how mediocore or advanced their tech background is...they'll always be leaps and bounds ahead of you if you have ZERO coding skills and a bounty of No-code fairy dust

I am curious what his churn rate would be on a resume builder app with a subscription. I understand he has more features on the SaaS now, but I feel like I personally would subscribe for one month, get my resume/other things done and cancel? unless im missing something?

This comment section is crazy. We learned about what this guy did to start his business. He didn’t come in here to teach you step by step how to copy him. That’s what separates entrepreneurs from everyone else: they “figure it out” when there’s no clear next step.

videos like this are fake af - just keep up with you "successful model" and make the money instead of criving for attention on yt and misleading people :))

Fernando's story is super inspiring! What do you think about his strategy of niching down and focusing on simplicity to solve user problems? Is there a market or problem you'd want to tackle similarly?

@AILabHQ
@

How did he build is missing.

@zaid4785
@

hey fernando! as someone who's also building in the AI space, really impressed by your success. but gotta point out that building AI apps is getting harder now - the market's flooded with basic wrappers around openai/anthropic apis.

what's working now is focusing on specialized use cases with unique value props. at jenova ai, we found success by solving the model fragmentation problem - basically routing each query to the best AI model for that specific task, plus adding real-time search/reddit/yt capabilities that others don't have.

curious to hear your thoughts on differentiation in today's AI landscape. what unique angles are you exploring for your next projects?

creating the app itself is the easy part, the hardest part is to market and reach your target audience to get sales
