Video Overview & Insights
Today I'm talking about 4 free alternatives to using Netflix (or another paid streaming option) for watching new content. The subscription economy is clearly out of control and our wallets need a break, so try using these 4 sources to get your media and reap the financial rewards!

Yup, everything is becoming a subscription and I am doing everything I can to resist. Never had a streaming subscription, I have been pirating for 30 years, almost 7,000 movies, over 1,800 TV series, countless music, game roms for all my fav consoles, PC and arcade, etc.

Solid suggestions! As a frugal fellow have you ever heard of Amy Dacyzn's (sp?) "The Tightwad Gazette"? Good reads. Found them at a yard sale. I worked as a page at my local library years ago. The library rocks!!! Good to hear you mention it. It's like a glaring "secret" haha. Ditched my Netflix sub as of the 23rd of this month. They kept raising the cost though I didn't really see any improvement in service. So many of their shows have a clear agenda I just couldn't stand it anymore. Great content ... appreciate it!
@infinitewave5161The reason I think tubi makes money and has good stuff for free is advertisers pay more for more people seeing their advertisements. And I’m not sure if it’s tubi or another free streaming service that is owned by amazon
@thomasriley8225……there isn’t one…got it
@C.I.A_UnclassifiedLooks like you know what you're doing . Just earned yourself a subscriber
@JohnsonRaymond82Thank you for mentioning the Library. It's an excellent way to get movies free .
@PlayWaves1Pluto is good too.
@brianoakley3636I don't mind the ads, but I want them IN MY LANGUAGE PREFERENCE. Otherwise, no deal.
@mavi5477Exaxtly.. look at food cost.. food is unafordable how f..... do these guys still qant subscriptions..
@go4throatHDO Box app is the best and you can watch any movie from Netflix, Amazon Prime and Paramount
@Youssef_2008_MvdHaven't watched over the air or cable TV since 2003 (let you guess why), have no intention of doing so again.
@hagbard8083What is the app called
@Kill_semayaPluto looks to be another similar platform..
@andrewcastro2530What's your thought on Netmerior
@Will-n9sTubbi has definitely gotten better over the years. It used to be mostly knockoff movies, but now it's the real deal
@Will-n9sNetflix is garbage.
@pristinepersiansI love Tubi tv. I would rather give my time than my money
@gwillis01F Amazon. I pay and have ads
@winchangkouGreat video on so many levels. Frugal people rock!
@kenw9438I use both BiliBili and Loklok.. watch 1 ad every download and it's ready to go.
@noaharcanthonysibug7637There’s also Pluto tv!!
@pokepalace6733I think I’m going to be just sticking to NOW TV. I’ll be getting rid of next month of the end of March. I’ll be getting rid of Netflix.
@sandra-l3gTubi TV is throwing ads every 15 minutes. Pretty unbearable. No sure why that’s recommended on your video 👎
@CHN11-i1rThank you so much for this video. It was very interesting.
@EmilyCrawford-z4wlove it
@jlead2850Really dude
@maatlabk9727Ty for awesome hints❤
@shannyroseluv2552Guys just use stremio with a torrietio addon, YOU WILL THANK ME! NO ADS 4K!! And FREE!! BuT LEGALY ITS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, a lot of people I’ve “heard” use it😊😂😂😂
@TheSubconciousTruthHere’s a streaming service that part of the library that you didn’t mention is Hoopla digital which let’s borrow ebooks, Comics,Music and even Movies and tv show all without any ads, but like Kanopy you can only borrow a certain number of items per month, and for tv show you have to each episode individually. I was also expecting you to mention that YouTube has its on free movies and tv section.
@greysonrome8727There lots of streaming platforms.. lookmovies is brilliant.. just pick a movie and watch.. no money no subscription fees.. don't understand why people pay for Obama's and the rest of politicians who invest money into Netflix. I wouldn't have it for that one reason.. Putting money into there pockets. Bollocks to that. Download movies on the pirate bay to torrents.. anyways stop paying money for the same movies that are the worst movies out.. 👋
@robertwalsh4408Quit Netflix as soon I was charged 6.99 a month because I didn't watch it in my house, why does all the other streaming companies allows 2 or 3 devices max and watch anywhere? I will never use Netflix again until the extra charge goes away so I can watch it on the road like rest of the other ones offer.
@dj-bn1fjJust get a google tv and install what you want, still don’t they have optic fiber in your country, like in my country internet provider is also the cable provider, I sure won’t get any digital channels with antena, plus they give a app too, so if I have smart tv and have the cable app I can still watch if fiber fails still I would have to gave hotspot from my phone untill they fix the fiber😅
@KEEVVYJust checked out tubi and it is sooooo good. Netflix is gone now, thankyou.
@AtayroseOk but like only netflix has pokemon so
