I Tried a Golf Course in the Redwoods
Video Overview & Insights
This is definitely one of the most interesting golf courses I've ever played. Getting the chance to play underneath the tallest trees on Earth was unlike anything I’ve experienced in golf. I hope you guys enjoyed this one. If you want to see more videos like this, let me know where I should discover next.
@bryson if you want to see trees, come play at the course in my town.
Shoutout to Northwood Golf Club for allowing us to film at their course!

I think trees have some form of spirit. I sense them when out fishing, golfing or walking the woods. My friend does ayahuasca regularly and is big on hanging out with tree spirits lol. Btw feeling small against nature is healthy for your mind. Accepting that you are just an ant makes it easier to accept and let go of trying to control everything.

Dr. McKenzie designed Sacramento's Haggin Oaks course around the same time he was working on Augusta. There is no front and back nine on the main course. They have the outward and inward nines. They used to play the Sacramento Open there and Ben Hogan won his first check there. Max Baer Sr. used to play in celebrity tournaments and Jr played in Jr tournaments there.

35:51 Even the best players do this. Guess I can yell "No, no!" at my shots without shame from now on.😂
@MOLLYPOP4232Playing golf among the redwoods is absolutely breathtaking. Amazing video!
@AfssSttsImagine how many they had to cut down to make this shame
@gumbie007gumbie00713:29 There is absolutely no way that someone gave birth to a little baby boy and thought… “yeah, Gaylord. I’ve always liked that name” (not hating just can’t believe it)
@Olly.G_17hey I live right next to there
@PoopyButt-IIII played there , beautiful place magic👌🏻
@MigueangelRodriguezIbanezPretty sure option 3 off the #6 tee (the massive hook) isn't really in the playbook. You're essentially blasting it at the #1 tee box 😂
@seymore_puttsI played this course the morning of my wedding. Turned out to be the best part of the day! Phenomenal course.
@courtlandwilson4449Golfed here twice and I can say it is one of the best courses I've ever played. It's stunning and the design is magnificent.
@marsh3825seriously, bryson love yah. But stfu up about the golf course.. Play and talk about what you did and why you did it. The end.. we're not watching a national geographical doc.
@ninjacub4692I live 20 minutes from northwood it is very difficult and special I've played it at least 100 times. Next you need to try mt. Shasta golf resort. Also very special.
@AlexEverett-gd8hhI love this course. I love that he went for it on 6. I've nailed those trees XD
@Ciclones946cool now my favorite local is goona be packed by dumbasses trying to hit driver on 1st tee thinking there you bahahahaha
@teajayparks8102Do your thing Bryson! Just know, a lot of people would love to see you back on the PGA Tour. If you ever play Laurel Valley or Rolling Rock in PA, I’d love to see those courses.
@chadyancy9215The biggest tree in the world is names after my great great great grandpa, so thats pretty cool
@camdenbridge8313I used to play there with my Dad. He went about 120 off the tee but would always beat me at Northwood
@rorikstrindberg2658You not winning majors because you can't read greens the best! You lose your confidence because you can't read greens
@SunnyDay-pd4ysHighly recommend anyone to go see the redwood forests if they've never been. Been twice and both times I wish I stayed there longer. Can't wait to go back 💚
@Zeeeeeshan_AliI know Bryson was on a Bohemian Grove rabbit hole and went, oh shit there’s a golf course there??
@mitchelljones9241Try Brooktrails golf course near Willits. Nine holes. Lots of Redwoods.
@mattmarchand3139Haaland video
@evanneiswanger4794What The Frenchtoast! I was Not a golf fan two years or so ago. After hearing about you on PMS and then watching during the Majors and your YTC. I had become a casual! I even watched a few LIVT’s. I enjoyed watching but so sick of hearing the old foreigner broadcasters talkin shiat about you and your process! F’m all and “F” it with No regrets!
@kgdotcomReminds me of Sahalee
@Ry0106-o8kFelt more like a documentary than a golf video very cool
@Sir_Tedward_III5:08 I just got chills
@ZvrtjHey Bryson! I want to see how low you can go at Coeur D’ Alene!
@BrettsRetroWorldThis was definitely a unique and cool one to watch. I've never even heard of the Bohemian Grove. Interesting stuff. Now it's got me curious of what actually goes on in those meetings. lol
@ChubbSnoddy38927:49 we all know what append there. AJ snuck in and took video of their ritual like 20 odd years ago.

I love how genuinely amazed Bryson is in this video! All the amazing courses he’s got to play and he can still see beauty in a public course.
@progressionsessions3530Job?...........
@shokka3Trees are awesome, but stop trippin and start playing. I would totally like my chances playing him here, actually. I do,however, like the irony of an ultra- nontraditionalist playing a Mackenzie course!
@JohnCollins-th8hmwalden in Houston/Conroe beautiful like this but not as big of trees.
@Tejon33We live 7 miles from this course...It really is cool
@JacobF-u8qBeautiful course. But aside from the redwoods, this is nearly every course in rural PA around me. Really should travel out east more and try our local courses around Franklin county. There’s tons of gems tucked away in the mountains that really challenge with the old style course designs.
@BowYangJamOne of your best videos yet Bryson
@aaronshepherd-w6uBryson!!!!!!
@themarshmallowgamer1214Craziest thing is there use to be way bigger ones. Biggest trees were cut down, used to be thousands over 400 feet and wider then the biggest sequoias
@Jmoney1327Thank you for sharing this experience ❤
@ricomacpherson6845wow its actually super affordable to golf in norcal
@kidchupacabra4369This felt like a mixture of Bob Ross and Bryson talking lol
@Stuck117I love golf courses, but this feels wrong.
@theaarongarciaThe thumbnail looks like a pic from the original Microsoft Golf back on Windows 3.1
@kain0067hey bryson what made you replace the taylormade driver and will you ever go back?
