I’ve Been Struggling with Infertility for 7 Years and I’m Angry
Infertility is a dignity from God that you are not supposed to reproduce.

As heard on this episode:
I used clearblue 2 most fertile days and fell pregnant both times. It really takes the guess work out of the process of when exactly to do it as the window is so small every month. I'm talking about a window that is just a few hours long and thats why i was struggling. Please try it ladies, before completely giving up. I would recommend the 2 most fertile days pack, not the 4 most fertile pack as the 2 days is much closer to ovulation to ensure those slow swimmers get there right when you ovulate. It's a cheaper option to try before IVF. Good luck❤ it really worked for me. I've almost never reviewed anything unless I feel strongly about it.

We have been married 7 years. We struggled to get pregnant and probably 2 years in we got pregnant and miscarried (still think about that baby everyday). About a year later we got pregnant again during the worldwide pandemic and he was born healthy and well at 37 weeks due to me having and undiagnosed pre-eclampsia and possibly the thing where your sick the whole time (like couldnt keep water down sick). Now our miracle baby is 4 and we have been trying that whole time for baby number 3 (hopefully 2nd child alive with us). Its a hard road that no one can understand unless they walk it. My sister in laws pumps out babies basically yearly and one friend married less time than us is expecting number 4. It hurts but its our journey and I am trying to embrace everyday with our son we do have and hope we have another. I know God can and hoping he will. I also have a friend married a few years and they only have had one pregnancy but miscarried.

It got so bad for me that I had to quit my job working with kids. I like my new job but Im lonely at it sometimes as its a bit isolating. There are many reasons I quit but that was one of them.

I don’t think I can put myself through the emotional rollercoaster of fertility treatments or adoption. I’m getting older and have PCOS, so I’m preparing myself for disappointment. I’ll have to get creative with my life goals, and treat myself well with the extra resources I have.

I feel for you. I struggled with infertility for 6 years. What finally worked for me was 1 year of therapy that gave me inner strength to continue fighting. Then I found a fertility doctor who practices integrative medicine. It means that she does not do IVFs (I already had done two IVFs), she restores the body to be able to get pregnant. I take more than 15 pills a day. Some are hormones, some are vitamines. I also got a specialist in nutrition, lost 14 kg (though I only was 2 kg overweight). I went half a year without sugar. I did the same operation twice because the first surgeon did not clean my uterus completely. We went to two-month courses for people who want to adopt. I created my own fertility meditation with my voice. I even did some Japanese injections that are not approved in my country. So, if you think you are doing too much, you should find strength to do even more. Talking to therapist I understood that I just can never give up, so I should double what I am already doing. I got pregnant after the second operation. I had to persuade my husband to have sex though he was very tired that week after playing a concert. I was unstoppable.

The least qualified and equipped parents do seem to be the most fertile. I have nothing but sympathy.

Cynthia I am so sorry this hope has been deferred for so long. I wish I could hug you. I am so sorry for all the cliche advice you’ve been given as if you haven’t searched every possible Avenue why this hasn’t happened yet. My hope and my prayer is for this to be redeemed. That you’ll look back on this hard road with a baby of your own in your arms. You have paid an immeasurable price of pain. You’re in the midst of others joy in the very place you ache. There are people rooting for you, I hope you get your miracle baby! 😊
@Alessandra-ec2hrHeartbreaking
@Nannygirl3737I don’t see why people speed years and tens of thousands of dollars, when there are so many kids that need a mama and daddy.
@reflection8578Lost 130 pounds FFS. Now infertile. Pay attention girls, it matters.
@jackdeniston59Wow! This comment section is a dumpster fire.
@elyse443Give me 3 minutes after a pina colada and she’ll have twins
@Dark_Souls_3I know this is an earlier discussion. My heart goes out to her... I have a wonderful friend that went through the same problem. She went back to college and became a teacher for kindergarten. She loves her job she loves the children and it's beautiful to see what she can offer her students, even if she can't have children herself ❤️
@SaystheTruth3Infertility is very costly too. IVF and fertility stuff often is not covered by insurance companies.
@karenhardie1132I watched this because maybe I hoped to inspired me to have children. Those who had kids they dont speak about anything else than their children. Just boring ... nothing has chanhere here , I love coming back to empty house and spending money .... only on myslef. I'm truly trying to understand where this need for a kid comes from. Maybe she needs to stop trying and then will happen
@mattiek7526that poor women
hope she succeeds!
By the age of 30 women have lost over 90% of their eggs. Dont forget you got a limited time before you become an empty egg basket. Also ladies weight is a huge issue not just having kids but every part of your body. Eat less move more it will save your life.
@ThePooppantsmanI and my fiance tried every day for 2 years straight, to no success. Until it finally worked.
@r6_UNCShe can look into surrogacy if she doesn’t want to do adoption.
@janeeyx5672You will be a mom. As women we yearn to create a life of our own blood, and when that doesn’t happen, it consumes us, rips away our hopes and dreams, and will make us feel guilty for our jealousy of those who have it happen so easily. So WHEN you become a mom, whether it’s through IVF, a surrogate, whatever it is, you’re going to be the best mom, it’s obvious.
@taylormrichardsIt’s though feeling, but give everything in the hand of God because giving everything to him will help you to have good state of mind. Because you can try having a baby but not all women or man God bless with a baby. God knows what’s best for you because they are so many good mom/Dad out thr who have kids but don’t have a good relationship. I pray Allah to take from his power to bless with a baby and guide you both at the right path.
@peacepeace5788Read START WITH THE EGG!!! It’s an AMAZING BOOK ABOUT FERTILITY! Britney Vasseur no YouTube had secondary infertility, miscarriages and cured with this book
@AC-ly6tgToo many people are struggling with infertility. My wife and I tried for three years before we had our first. With IVF, we are blessed with three kids over seven years period. The process is draining. From seeing my wife injecting herself many times a day to being poked by doctors to a couple of times and some disappointments. People see us with the three kids, but you can lose your soul along the way. It was draining for me as a husband and more for my wife. Our faith kept us through, and we leaned on each other. It is easy to say, “I understand,” but if you are not in it, you will never understand. As couples, lean on each other. Take a break from talking and thinking about it. Take a vacation and make use of the time together. Now we have three kids, with three months old twins, and very little sleep. We are always grateful but learn to appreciate every little thing along the way. It is not easy. I feel for her, and may the Lord comfort you both.
@BusObayomiMaybe her sister can be a surrogate for her!
@aimeemarsh37It’s been over 3 years for me. I feel the same way as she does. And worse, I feel stuck on a hamster wheel. Bc of COVID, I couldn’t see the fertility clinic and now it’s been so long we have to start back at square 1. We told family a long time ago we stopped trying bc it was crushing my heart every time they asked for an update or gave me a look every time I decided not to drink any alcohol
@brittanycompton8451I just want to give her a hug.
@kellyje11yI would encourage this lady to trust God, get in the secret place with God, your Father. He is not withholding any good thing from you. Find satisfaction in Him. There's nothing God can't do. It may be that He's preparing you for something amazing that you never dreamed possible.
@abbasjoy4785Honestly as I am getting older (not ready for a family yet) but I do fear that when I’m ready in my 30s it’ll be too late.
@amandawithlov3908So sad, infertility sucks. I found out when I was 15 sterile it was a rough 6 years after. Was blessed to meet my beautiful wife and got pregnant through a donor.
@christitmas2044Thousands of children are in foster care and need a loving family. I pray she and her husband see this need and create their family a different way. 🙏
@wiseowl2020Can someone explain to me why people are so opposed to adoption?
@haleytruslow7200Lord please bless this woman and her husband with a child ❤️
@heatherp4504Oh, I'm crying!! I've been struggling with infertility for almost 4 years. I completely understand the anger. Does she have a supportive community? I know some. I encourage her to not give up. She's a warrior! I agree with everything John said. The grief is real. At 34, she has time.
@jenniferbrooks--planj5459I've had these same issues for about the same amount of time. This was good advice and I wish I heard this while I was in that place. Thank you for your kind words.
@lizparker4118I pray you have a child soon. Try not to stress too much, I know it's hard...but maybe try IVF?
@shea1219Married 24 years also struggled with infertility. Then 3 yrs ago had a hysterectomy. Now it’s really all over for me.
@lmc7901Goodness, there's more to life 🧬 than having a phfruqk'n baby 🐥 get over it 🤔 or just let it go 👌
@jeep19I’ve never had to go through this but I have always felt horrible for women that have. It’s not fair at all. How devastating this must be especially when you see other women getting pregnant so easily. I don’t think I would handle it well myself either.
@VelvetNoir47I'm so sad for this woman. I think a support group would be helpful.
