Hi, I was there on Saturday at the Rose Bowl for the Pokemon event and it was amazing. I am team Valor Level 76 and have been playing since the beginning. You can find perfect by hitting 4* on the seach bar. I would keep some of the ones that are bad so you can do PVP. I would make your Hundo Garchomp your buddy and if you can mega evolve it that would be good. The more candy and XL candy you can get for it to max the cp leave to the max. Hopefully that can help you as you continue being a pokemon trainer.

@tjohnson-wooten8987I used to play a lot since 2016-2024 it’s been awhile since I really played then I only played community days but now I rarely open the game
@GrowingwithcourtneyMy kids are obsessed getting the opposite of the perfects (hundos as you called them). If you check all your zero star Pokemon you might find you have a few absolute zero Pokemon where none of them have even a tiny bit of the bars. My kids favourite 🤣
@StormerdarkSummer 2016 when it just came out we took our teens to the UK, and it took seconds in an airport to go over our data in a very expensive way. (pretty sure no way to get unlimited roaming data back then…) Poor kids were cut off til after our trip, not sure they rly picked it up again.

@bigc1280Get on Campfire in Pokémon- the square icon upper right corner of the map. There are groups all around. There is a big group in Lakeland that has a Pokémon Embassador and we all get together all the time, extra perks, family friendly, and everyone is more than willing to help teach tips and tricks. Just got home from a big meet up for the Groudon/Kyogre raid hour.
@LosingItParkHoppingDid you know that they are having a Pokémon exhibit at the Field Museum in Chicago starting in May. It was just announced. Nothing beats summertime in Chicago.

@Kim-q5din addition to shundo and hundo, there are nundos which are hundos but in the opposite direction, so they are horrible in battle
@superslyninja3083you should appraise all pokemon or at least search for 4* and tag them for hundos it's also fun if you find a nundo basically the opposite of the hundo all 0 stats just cuz they are rare haha
@slurpeeruleGreat to see you exploring the event Tim. Great to see the event, the Pokemon GO events in the U.K. are generally in London so not the easiest for us to attend living further up north so we have never attended one in person.
If you think the Pokestops and Gyms are dense at that event, you should see how crazy it looks anywhere in Tokyo 😂
Me and my wife are long term viewers of the channel and huge fans of the parks and your videos help give us a vicarious view when we don’t have the funds to make it out to Florida. Great to see how you and the boys have such a shared experience with Pokemon and Pokemon GO.
Personal tip... When battling in raids (or gym battles), you can tap anywhere on the screen to attack, so I like to keep my finger/thumb over the "super charged attack" button on the bottom and tap there as I battle, so that way when the meter gets full, my finger automatically hits the button as soon as possible to use it rather than having to consciously move my finger from where it is over to the button. Saves a few seconds. And, if you tap as vigorously as you can, and really lock in your focus uninterrupted, you can sometimes get more hits in. Every second and every hit counts in raids. I am by NO means a PoGo expert like some people out there- I just play for fun- so maybe other people have better tips, but that's what works for me.
Also, pretty much all 1 star raids can be taken down by 1 person alone (fairly easily with high-stat pokemon), 3 star "normal" raids can be done with 2 people with high-stat pokemon, 3 or 4 if you have low-stat pokemon, 5 stars "normal raids" need probably at least 3 or more people. Any of the special raids (shadow, mega, etc), add at least 2 other people to the higher-star raid quotas. Also, shadow pokemon are some of the hardest to catch! Bring your patience pants and be very accurate when trying to catch them. And use golden razzberries if you have them. There is NO time limit! 🙂 If they seem like they're spamming attacks at you, there will be a moment they calm down. Best to wait one or two cycles so you can learn their pattern before throwing the ball. And, sometimes it's best to throw it just as they are finishing their last attack before they calm down.

@MikesVegasJust remember, do not open the game on two separate phones when you are apart. They'll flag you for spoofing. If Jackson wants to play while you are away (or vice versa if Jenn is away), she might need to open a new account on her phone.
@lisa4bellsAnother one to look for when appraising is the NUNDO. That is a Pokemon that has zero stats in every category. Extremely rare. I keep them just for that fact. I've been playing since 2016 and have 7.
