I took the exam after two weeks of practicing and got an overall score of 7.5 with 8 in Reading and Listening, 7.5
in Writing, and 6.5 in Speaking.
There's this website called IELTS Online Tests where they have tons of practice tests with real exam simulation, which really helped me know where I stood and what to improve. As for Writing, I practiced all of Chris's tips and tricks, even though I wasn't able to cross 6.5 while practicing, I got a 7.5 in the actual test!
In the Speaking part, I got really nervous and overwhelmed. My mistake was that I was too focused on giving the "perfect" answer, like it was an academic exam, rather than just speaking naturally with good vocabulary. So my advice: even if you don't know the answer, talk about something related using good vocabulary, that's what matters.
Also If you're taking the test on a computer, a demo video plays before each test, and you have to click Enter to actually start. I'd suggest not entering too soon, take a moment to relax and go in with a clear mind.
Also, don't waste money on apps like IELTS Prep, I paid for it and it wasn't worth it. YouTube is more than enough, especially if you use English in your everyday life.

Used Grok to grade my writing and speaking exercises (asked it to remove filters). Took the exam yesterday 25 May and scored 7.5 overall when I checked my results the next day.
