Make a hole in the bread with a cup or round cutter

Add a pinch of salt and black pepper

It's the perfect food for breakfast
Very time consuming for such an unhealthy egg sandwich. Why is your bread soft? Don't eat bleached flour or wheat flour that has been bleached then colored brown. What that means is, get some real bread. Cook the egg to personal choice. I like a cooked white and warm runny yoke. Add a slice of cheese and suitable breakfast meat if that suits your taste. Bread should not have a gummy texture.
