Do you want to improve your vocabulary so you can sound more intelligent, articulate and sophisticated when you speak? In business communication, many people want to sound more articulate when they speak. Even though articulation encompasses a wide variety of skills, the vocabulary that you use when you communicate matters. It matters a lot! You can use elementary vocabulary and sound like an entry-level employee. Or you can use more sophisticated vocabulary that makes you sound more intelligent.
Girl, you need more thinking time in your videos. LOL. Its my first video so I'm not trying to judge. I'm just trying to suggest that you add more time for those who are actually learning to Process the information and let it sink in and be practiced. For example, the first time you said "say this out loud" I got two words out loud and then it swiped on by. I know its a video and I could just pause it, but I think overall it would flow better if you could just put it in the schedule of the video or say pause here and practice. Again, just a suggestion. :) If you ever do this again.
If you're aiming to be a more articulate, intelligent and sophisticated professional, then you will need to expand your vocabulary - expand your vocabulary beyond what you normally use and infuse more advanced English vocabulary into your speech. This is important for people who are both native English speakers or non-native English speakers.
Now, expanding your vocabulary can be extensive (there are 171,146 words in the Oxford English Dictionary!) but to get you started, in this video, I share three specific words that will help you to improve your vocabulary and sound more articulate when you speak.

May I suggest how the use of the word PRESUME can be perceived as a highly charged word with some audiences... especially if the annunciation and tone are not given balance...

“think about” is 3 syllables and “consider” is 3 syllables so you didn’t shorten the sentence at all. Yeah there may be benefits to using “consider” but my point is just what I outlined it to be.

First Word is CONSIDER: “Please consider my CV for the position I am applying for”. // 2. Second Word is SUGGEST: “Here is my suggestion.” // 3. Third Word is PRESUME: “Since the dollar exchange rate estimates are not yet ready to be published, I presume some product prices will be higher than last week. Thank you! 😊

@criticalrunner5132One of the best ways to build sophisticated vocabulary is to listen to radio talk show hosts, who have studied history, politics, or law. When you hear interesting quips or a turn of a phrase, or a very precisely placed vocabulary word, jot it down on index cards and then restudy them. Only listen to commentators that are extremely articulate and intelligent and it will rub off on you.
