*In the Old Testament, the Jewish people repeatedly turned away from the Lord. They abandoned His commandments, worshipped false gods and idols, and chased after the pagan ways of surrounding nations. As Scripture tells us in 2 Chronicles 36:14-21:*

“All the officers of the priests and the people likewise were exceedingly unfaithful, following all the abominations of the nations. And they polluted the house of the Lord... The Lord, the God of their fathers, sent persistently to them by His messengers... But they kept mocking the messengers of God, despising His words and scoffing at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord rose against His people until there was no remedy.”

Because of this unfaithfulness — idolatry, immorality, and rejecting God — the Lord allowed the Babylonians to conquer Judah, destroy the Temple, and carry His people into exile in Babylon for seventy years. It was a divine chastisement.

*In the past, on three occasions, the Ottomans and Muslims tried to take Europe.* They besieged Vienna in 1529 and 1683, nearly breaking into the heart of Christendom. They invaded Malta in the Great Siege of 1565, and they attacked Italy in 1480, capturing Otranto as a stepping stone toward Rome. But most dramatically, in 1571 they launched a massive armada to conquer the Mediterranean and Europe itself at the Battle of Lepanto. Against a much smaller Christian fleet, the Muslims were defeated in one of history’s greatest naval battles. Pope St. Pius V had called for all of Europe to pray the Rosary. When word of the victory reached him, he instituted the feast of Our Lady of Victory on October 7th, later known as Our Lady of the Rosary, in thanksgiving to the Blessed Mother.

In those days, people were still faithful. They went to church, practiced Eucharistic adoration, and prayed the Rosary fervently. Great leaders turned to Our Lady, asking her to intercede with her Son. Against all odds, we were miraculously spared each time through her powerful intercession — in Malta on the feast of her Nativity, at Lepanto, and dramatically at Vienna. The victories were attributed directly to the Blessed Mother answering the Rosary.

*Now look at Europe, especially Catholic heartlands like Italy.* Starting in the 1980s and 1990s, we see the same pattern of falling away. The Church emptied out. Mass attendance plummeted across Italy, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and beyond. People abandoned the sacraments, stopped going to Confession, turned their backs on Christ truly present in the Tabernacle.

Instead, they embraced the sexual revolution — abortion on demand, sex outside marriage, cohabitation, pornography, and eventually same-sex marriage. Italy produced some of the filthiest films in Europe during that era. Pop culture pushed it hard: Sabrina Salerno’s provocative videos like “Boys (Summertime Love)”, Samantha Fox’s raunchy hits. The Netherlands turned Amsterdam into the world’s most famous red-light district. Brussels became an open sewer in many districts.

Europeans chose luxury, material comfort, career, prestige, and sexual freedom over faith and family. They rejected the Gospel for sin and self-worship. As a direct result, birth rates collapsed — Italy now sits at around 1.2 children per woman, far below replacement.

Just like ancient Israel, when a Christian people abandons the Lord, the Lord can permit consequences. Today the method is different. Instead of swords and sieges, we face mass migration, higher birth rates, and parallel societies. Strong in their faith, Muslims are filling the void we created. In this view, what we’re seeing is a chastisement. We who once had the fullness of the Faith — the Eucharist, the sacraments, the Church — turned away. Now we risk finding ourselves under the feet of Muhammad, Ahmed, Ali, and the rest. They will walk over us, trample our culture, and if we do not submit to their ways, stomp upon us. This may be God allowing what we chose through our unfaithfulness.

It might already be too late to reverse the demographic tide without a profound spiritual conversion. The path back is repentance, return to the sacraments, and rebuilding a culture rooted in Christ. Without that, the exile continues — only this time, it’s happening in the lands that were once Christendom.

We have brought this on ourselves because of our unfaithfulness to Christ, who loved us so much, he died on the cross for us and gave himself to us, not only in the most blessed sacrament, but in all the sacraments, but especially in the sacraments and in the mass, which is his same anamnesis sacrifice, the same one that happened. While I agree 95% + with what you say here, don't forget situations like Mallorca where Germans have had a huge impact. I remember about 20 years ago people in Paguera/Camp de Mar tearing down fences put up by Germans. The fences were blocking traditional Rights of Way.

Germany for a long period had racist and white supremacist ideology and especially under the Nazi regime of Hitler wanted to invade and conquer Soviet Union and eliminate the native Russian population whom the Nazis considered untermensch or subhuman and forcibly settled there..It's a different matter that they failed..Germans also committed genocide on the namibian population in africa famously known as the herrero and namaqua genocides...In South Africa the europeans primarily British and Dutch installed apartheid over the native population till very recent times even though they had no business to be there in the first place..Its a strange aspect of human nature that we easily forget the bad things we do to others but get all worked up and panic when others do so to us..Luckily history records these events even though many people consider it boring and a waste of time..There is a concept in Hinduism called karma which says that you sow what you reap and there is no escape from consequences..Perhaps native europeans being known as rational and reasonable people would do better to read, understand and introspect on their own history before accusing immigrants for all their problems...Ofcourse they will find if they think objectively what they did which is much worse than what they feel is now happening to them...Historical amnesia will not work...
