@اسراءمحمد-س9جGreat testament here to the foresight that went into planning this stadium for the commonwealth games. The stadium was built to only host athletics on a temporary basis for the games and then tonbe quickly adapted to Man Citys new stadium, to replace the aging Maine road. Nice as the idea seem, an athletics stadium just doesnt have the demand for longevity
@JK-wn3ccCity forever babyzz 🎉🎉🎉
@miHOY-y8kLucky to have experienced both Maine Road and now the Etihad. We continue to grow as a club and can't wait for the redevelopment to finish. Going to look even more amazing. MCFC OK

@主将帰宅部Why missing capacity after renovation?
@jebuvas24I was 16 when Maine Road went down, i was very exited about our new ground, it took a long time for it feel like home! Old stadiums are the heartbeat of a club😥
@mikey8718When did the name Etihad Stadium first appear on the roof of the stadium? Just a curious Manchester City fan........

It's so sad that City left Maine Road for this soulless crap. I know why they did it, but it still hurts.
@axroDon’t make it too big, you will struggle to fill it.
@alezandercorben4122Oil power
@mrrudeboiboltey9875Still can't fill it
@nme9879I remember arguing with some moron from Serbia who Insisted the only reason England had any good stadiums was because all the foreign money that paid for the etihad etc. I had to point out the Arabs didn’t sponsor the stadium until years after it was built by Manchester council among other British sources. English football has foreign investment because it’s good, not the other way around.
@PorkcylinderIt's crazy how much they dug out from the ground to add in another tier of seats and make it so pitch wasn't miles away. Really clever engineering.
@RoryHannaThe best stadium in the world will be the Bernabeu. do not give it more laps
