iPhone Air - Up In The Air About It!

I just purchased the Air in black, it arrives today. I’m upgrading from a 13 mini. Let’s see how it works for me. The Air is not that much heavier than the 13 mini.

Just switched/upgraded from my ailing iPhone 11 Pro Max to a 512GB Sky Blue iPhone Air. I absolutely LOVE it! It's a great phone! Glad I switched!

says dont use a case to get the full experience, then in the next breathe says the camera plateau ruins the experience... lmfao

Love my Air

I noticed a gap between the frame and the screen and it collects dust is it just my device or does anyone one else has the same issue?

I’m not up in the air about it. To each their own. I’ve had it for two weeks now. The speaker is not great but not the deal breaker. The battery is. Such a gorgeous phone. Perfect screen size. Sadly it’s going back as soon as I have a day off of work. I just cannot handle a phone that I have to charge so much.

Iv heard opposite about the modems

The iPhone Air felt like the most premium iPhone ever made — super light, sleek, and just amazing to hold. But at the same time, Apple really pushed the limits of obsolescence with it. The battery life is underwhelming, and the lack of stereo speakers makes it feel like a step back in daily use. It’s beautiful, but clearly compromised.

No Dual stereo speaker system, no Deal.

The black Air is the best looking iPhone since maybe the black iPhone 5

My Air overheats a-lot. When playing videos it just spins and fails to load. Ridiculous for the price. I love the feel of the phone though. Best in hand feel iphone ever.

Just upgraded from my 13mini 3days ago. Actually bought a couple cases 4months back so I guess I wanted this phone from jump. Does what I need it do and it looks cool. Luv the iPhone air

I think that if they made the case design like the iPhone 6 and reduced the size, it would be the perfect smartphone for me

I think it’s really nice that Apple makes the phone for every type of person for those people who are mentalist who don’t care about cameras. I don’t really care that much about speaker. The iPhone Air is a great phone. For the pro users who do a lot of the other pro stuff there’s a pro phones and for most people the iPhone 17 does what they wanted to do people by the iPhone Air because of the premium peel and materials that are put into the phone they like that and they’re willing to sacrifice those other compromises for it if they were to put a second speaker in the iPhone Air, maybe they would have to decide whether the side would be aluminum or titanium. I don’t know. But We’ll see if there’s an iPhone Air two right now I’m headed over to the T-Mobile app and going to sign up for the iPhone Air now just decide which color to go with. I do listen to YouTube I don’t you wear your AirPods but I think it’ll be OK for some things if I want really good music I’ll just hook up a Bluetooth that’ll give me the surround sound I like thanks.

If it were pro max size

I use the iPhone Air and it’s a beautiful phone. It has a great shape. It’s the future for sure. But the problem I had was that one speaker I just could not move past that they yeah I just couldn’t move past that single speaker. Why they didn’t add a second speaker to that phone I do not know. But I think that phone was designed for a specific niche. I think in my mind people who wear AirPods all the time and don’t care about speakers and that kind of thing but I think for the price point they could’ve added a few more things. A better battery an extra speaker definitely but I think that would change the dynamics of the phone itself. You know that phone is ultra thin so more features means bigger and thicker so I don’t know how they would do it but we’ll see. Maybe that’ll be an iPhone or two I’m gonna hold out and see if there will be cause I really like it. I just cannot get past that one single speaker, especially if I’m on a call where I have the phone and I have to talk to the speaker. You know I’m somebody’s assisting me with something that just didn’t work for me especially in a noisy place anyway and I don’t like to wear your AirPods all the time I just took me out. I don’t want things shoved in my ears all the time. I wanna hear what’s around me anyway thank you for reading.

The best color. In this plato sould be a second camera. Like an ultra-wide! But first of all, is a very good first execution. If they can put a bigger battery, this will be my next phone.

I have both. I absolutely love the design. It feels so good to use without a case. The battery is solid. You can pick them up cheaper than the MSRP. I bought an unlocked 1tb model for 1000 bucks on eBay. The black air is so clean and it’s a color I miss greatly on the pro max. The Air is much more durable than the pro. While I very much enjoy the Air there are a few compromises that really hurts this device. You’d think that Battery would be a concern. For me, even as a heavy user I can get a day of use out of it. Because of the smaller battery it does charge up fairly quickly. The speakers and the camera are the reasons why I end up going back to the Pro. The speaker isn’t horrible but not great. I used it for a zoom meeting and a slightly loud environment and had a hard time hearing the conversation at full volume. The speaker does sound a little distorted at full volume. I like to watch videos from time to time and most certainly the sound is far less superior than even the regular 17 series. I also have kids that often have events. We also enjoy going to concerts. The wide angle and zoom is sorely missed for these types of camera uses. If they added another speaker and another camera with wide angle and some improved zoom this phone would be god tier.

I went from a iPhone 15 pro max to the air and I love the weight difference and one thing I’m not into cameras so the air is perfect for me

an extra camera, another speaker and louder volume, proper USB C speeds, better battery, and I'm sold. knowing apple, these will be incremental updates, so I guess Air 3 or 4 for me
