Is ChatGPT Plus Worth It? A Review after Extensive Use After a YEAR (2025)

As someone who graduated in 2025 with my bachelor’s, my university was very strict about not using ChatGPT. And I’ve realized there are really two types of students: those who just want to get things done and get the best grades, and those of us who actually want to learn.

For me, the whole point of my education was to learn how to do things myself. Technology is amazing, and it can do a lot for us — but using ChatGPT in school can feel like a cheat code. I’m glad I didn’t rely on it while I was a student. After four years, I came out strong. I truly learned everything and I know how to do the work on my own, the way it was done before me.

Now that I’ve graduated and I’m in the workforce, though, ChatGPT Plus has been incredibly helpful — especially for things like resumes, cover letters, and professional writing. At this stage, I actually think it’s necessary.
