Is Game Pass Ultimate worth it for PC Players? (3 Month Review)

I've been using Game Pass Ultimate over the past 3 months, and I want to give a review of the service and if it's worth it specifically for people who only play on PC. The service definitely is catered towards people who own both an Xbox and PC, but if you only have the latter, are the extra features worth the extra cost versus just paying for base PC Game Pass? And is Game Pass even worth of value to you versus the numerous other store fronts like Steam, EGS, etc.?

This is really worth it, as a person who just got a credit card and trying to build credit I needed something recurring that wasnāt expensive and this really helped

Service would be god tier if every fucking game in existence wasn't bloated with DLC, or if the DLC discount was significant, I'd definitely pay extra for all DLC included with sub, but I realize the logistics of that would be difficult, if not impossible
As is, only worth if you plan to play online games, otherwise why bother? Pretty shit service if you have a PC, makes more sense on consoles

I disagree that the Xbox app is good. I constantly had issues installing games, the app wasnāt well integrated into windows, and I noticed the game icons were constantly messed up when I tried to add a desktop shortcut.
Like the video mentioned, controller support outside of Xbox controllers is pretty much nonexistent. I have a Switch Pro Controller which works with pretty much every Steam game but was completely incompatible with Game Pass SDK versions. I even tried running the Game Pass games through Steam, but to no avail.
I think the experience on Mouse and Keyboard for some games is a lot worse, so this pretty much barred me from playing a lot of games I wanted to because of my controller.
Overall, obviously this subscription is a lot worse than owning games, even through Steam. That being said, even with all of its issues, itās hard to argue with such a huge catalog of games for such a cheap price. I was able to try a lot of games I would have never thought to.
For me Iād rather completely own my games rather than paying monthly to play them. And most of the time im just paying for gamepass and not using it
@TheGam1ngOwlxbox gamepass is shit imo... the problem is: there are not enough good and expensive games coming out... there need to be 2 full priced games that you would buy and thats just not the case... ofc. its only 10 or 12 euros... but in one year this is 120 - 140 euros...
subscribtion services add up
i could get alot of games that i can actually keep and im not bound to an subscription service.. imagine all your progression is bound to xbox plattform ( i speak about pc, gamepass pc)... that means: you need to continue subscribtion, or buy the game expensive (xbox store expensive af), otherwhise you loose your progress....
gamepass is not worth it
Id rather have ultimate so I have access to multiplayer.
