Funny how you guys STILL DONT UNDERSTAND that Max is always simply telling what he really thinks. He wants to save F1 from the battery boost button yo yo racing…. He wants to have F1 as the pinnacle of MOTORSPORTS, now and AFTER HE HAS LEFT F1.

@lucashibbs9164It's funny watching pundits say Max's negative talk about the current regulations is him posturing. Max isn't posturing. Max will leave F1 at the end of the year to race endurance, rather than live through 5 years of the prime of his driving career driving under the current FIA regulations. The FIA can't change the regulations enough without tossing them out completely to fix the problem to satisfy not only Max, but all F1 drivers. The fact that this weekend's 24-hour Nürburgring race is SOLD OUT for the first time in history, tells you that when Max leaves F1, so will a lot of race fans. No one likes the racing F1 currently puts on display every race. It's poor quality, and the excitement is lost because of fake overtakes.
@InterestedAmericanVerstappen is the only star in F1 currently. Don't let the political correct hacks tell you anything else. Let's see what happens. It's not that F1 is in the business of recognising the drivers as the main attraction, however many seasons of that DTS crap they produce. Their target audience is the superficial crowd to milk for every dollar they have, they have NO interest in the sport at all.
@1973HenkYUnfortunately, superclipping can't be removed to fix the problem with the regulations because it's bilt-in to engine designs, and the FIA has no alternative ready. Superclipping forces cars to significantly slow down on track during a race to charge the battery. The best the FIA can do with the regulations is limit the time that drivers spend superclipping. We all are stuck with race cars slowing and ruining the race until the next regulation set comes in 2030-31.
The strange thing is, F1 engine manufacturers also create supercars for the road. In their supercars they use electricity to make cars go faster, corner better, etc. Why the FIA decided to force race cars to slow down significantly to charge the battery is a question no one is asking. How is it a thing in F1, that race cars are forced to significantly slow down repeatedly during a race to charge a battery?
